Rainbow Dash the Sports Star (1)
After the events of Equestria Girls, life moves on for the people of the other world. With soccer season coming up can Rainbow Dash juggle sports with other things important to her?

(this story takes place in the EQG world, so if you aren't a fan of EQG than this fic isn't for you.)

After Twilight returned home with Spike, the portal to the other world closed up. With no random pony princess to help get a crown for, life was returning back to normal.

Rainbow Dash, being captain of all the sports team, has a lot riding on her plate already. With soccer season coming up and a personal life, can she manage the addition of an unexpected romance?

Life goes on

It was an early Tuesday morning when Rainbow Dash had woken up feeling a bit different than usual. She had been thinking about Twilight and how she managed to turn things around in just a couple of days. "That girl was amazing, for a pony I mean." She looked at the clock while the renewed energy had coursed through her body.

"If she can change things around so can I. She made me realize that friendship is awesome and I want my friendship back with Shy," Rainbow Dash admitted. She was looking at the mirror and checking herself out. "Well less time enjoying ice cream for me... need to get back in tip top shape for soccer season."

With hours before school started, she had enough time to do an early morning exercise routine that was intensely strenuous. Being the captain of all sport teams wasn't an easy thing for anyone especially a girl. Sometimes the guys in the school had challenged her for captain and would face defeat in any sport. She was talented and shined at the cost of being extremely busy dealing with more than just practice.

While doing her 100th push up, and feeling the burn, her muscles worked to keep up with the physical demand the body had of continuously moving her frame against gravity. She was sweating a storm and would soon shower and get some grub in her. It was hard constantly excelling at sports while maintaining a decent grade average to be allowed to play.

She hated reading books and considered them lame unless they were comic books. She had a collection of superhero comics that she hid from public view. Her image was necessary to be kept if she wanted to remain the sports star she was. Still something was playing in her mind about her friendship.

She went to the bathroom and turned the hot water on for the showers. She was grabbing the soap and shampoo and began cleaning herself as her mind drifted. She began thinking about Fluttershy and how they met.

a young girl with cyan skin and rainbow hair was at a summer camp hating every minute of it and wishing it was over. She had been forced there by her dad since he wanted his daughter to socialize and not be such a loner. She was already dealing with fail bullies and jerk wads and saw nothing good of the camp experience.

She was walking along the grounds of the camp unattended, because the camp counselors weren't very attentive of the campers. She heard some whimpering noises and the taunting of two kids who had nothing better than to tease other people. She rushed towards the noises and saw a canary skinned girl being bullied by the two jerks.

"Your such a klutz, yeah we should call you Klutzershy," Said one of the bullies Rainbow Dash recognized as Hoops. The other bully Dumb Bell was also teasing the poor girl.

Fluttershy appeared to be injured, from their abusive manners, and she began crying. She hadn't the slighted clue what she did to deserve such torture but just as the bullies began their verbal assault she was rescued.

"Leave her alone!" Rainbow Dash called out when she made herself known. She rushed in between the crying girl and the two boys with fury in her eyes.

"Well well, if it isn't Rainbow Crash," Hoops said rudely. He wasn't afraid of the intruder but knew better than to blindly challenge the furious girl.

"Yeah Rainbow Crash," Dumb Bell said emulating Hoops's tone. Dumb Bell wasn't a thinker nor was he bright in the slightest. He was more of the follower of the two and needed Hoops to help him with everything.

Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes, "Oh look it's the two idiots who only bully the weak. Well not anymore, you are going to leave her alone."

Hoops got angry and yelled, "What are you going to do about it?"

Rainbow Dash chuckled lightly before answering with, "Why don't you keep picking on her and find out?"

Fluttershy was in awe of this angelic being who came seemingly from nowhere and rescued her from the mean bullies. She was afraid that the kind hero was going to get hurt because she was too shy and weak to protect herself.

Rainbow Dash didn't understand why she just jumped her way into a potential fight with two boys, but she felt bad ass doing so. She didn't even know the girl she was risking her own safety and worse of all with no camp counselors around things could get ugly.

Hoops was sizing Rainbow Dash up and since she wasn't flinching he felt it wouldn't be worth the risk of being beaten up by a crazy tomboy just to humiliate some klutz. "Alright you are getting off this time with just a warning, don't mess with me again."

Rainbow Dash smirked. "Sure, well here is my warning to you... never pick on this girl again. From now on she is under my protection," she announced like a true bad ass.

Fluttershy blushed at the intense declaration. She didn't even know who her savior was, and already she had a protector it seemed.

Hoops just scoffed and left while yelling at Dumb Bell to follow. They both left with their body's intact but their manhood was challenged and it was slowly eating away at them.

Rainbow Dash turned around and faced the girl whose life she just saved. "Hey... sorry that happened," she said before extending her hand to help the girl up. "My name is Rainbow Dash, what's yours?"

Fluttershy looked up at the heroic girl and grabbed her hand gently while muttering, "Fluttershy."

Rainbow Dash couldn't hear the mousy voiced girl and tried asking again. "So what is it?"

Fluttershy hid behind her bangs and mumbled, "Fluttershy."

Rainbow Dash chuckled softly. "Alright Fluttershy, I like the name it suits you... anyways I meant what I said back there. I may not know you but since I am going to be protecting you... we might as well be friends right?"

Fluttershy shyly smiled and spoke a bit louder. "I would like that," she said softly.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash turned the water off and sighed at the memory that played before her. "What happened to us Shy? We used to be so close and then high school changed everything." She grabbed a towel and dried herself off before getting dressed in her school clothing.

She made sure her hair was wild and yet styled to look awesome. Her clothing had to be just right as she needed to display awesome even in boring school clothing. "Yeah I got it down pact. If there was anyone more awesome it would probably be future me."

She went to the kitchen and didn't bother waking up her dad since she could make toast with jelly and that was breakfast enough until she got to the school cafeteria. "Good for nothing dead beat... well he made me so that's awesome I guess." she watched the toast fly off the toaster and smiled at the silliness of it. "Man it's the little things in life that get ya."

She spread some jelly on the toasted bread and chomped down eager to get to school. She knew that today would be the best day to rekindle her friendship with Fluttershy since it was the day the shy girl would hand out the flyers to the animal shelter.

All she had to do was offer her services and go help out and boom mission accomplished. "How hard could it be to take care of animals? I mean Fluttershy can do it, so I can too... right?"

____________________________________________________________

Fluttershy was standing by the statue that once was a portal to some mysterious pony world. She was holding a stack of flyers that had details about volunteering at an animal shelter she goes to a lot. She enjoys animals and tries saving as many as she can. It was a thankless task but to her, it was the grandest thing she could do.

Animals have been her friends for the longest since mostly she was awkward at social situations growing up. She had only one friend that wasn't four legged or furry. With animals it wasn't about appearance or personality just caring mattered. She felt a special connection with them and spent most of her time taking care of strays.

Her parents weren't fond of the animals and that meant she had to learn to hide them. Which is why the shelter was so important to her because they could house the animals but needed people to help them.

"The animal shelter needs your help... please will you come to the animal shelter after school and help?" she asked while attempting to hand out flyers. Not many people gave a rats ass about animals besides Fluttershy and it made her feel hopeless as each week passed by.

"Hey I want to take one of them flyers and I don't mind helping out after school today," said a voice familiar to Fluttershy.

Fluttershy looked up from the papers with the small tears in her eyes and saw her friend Rainbow Dash there with a soft smile. "Really? You aren't just kidding are you?" she asked tearfully.

Rainbow Dash looked around and saw no one paying attention so she moved in for a hug. She wrapped her arms around her friend and gently asked, "What's the matter Shy?"

Fluttershy sobbed on Rainbow Dash's shoulder while gently speaking. "It's hard Rainbow Dash... I come every week wanting someone to care but people are either too busy or don't care enough to help. The shelter needs volunteers or animals won't get helped."

Rainbow Dash remembered how good it felt holding her friend and being held as well. When high school hit their bond slowly broke as time passed. Rainbow Dash was an all star athlete and Fluttershy was the animal lover that no one gave second notice to.

"Look Fluttershy... I meant it, I have some free days before soccer season starts and I could spend them helping you out. Plus I will talk to some teammates and I will see if I can get some peeps to help out as well." She gently let go of her friend and made sure no one saw her being sentimental.

Fluttershy smiled at her offer and felt that connection that was lost during the start of high school. "Thanks Dashie... I mean Rainbow Dash. I am really glad you offered your help. Please don't be late and meet me here after school I can bring you to the shelter since I know you don't like reading."

Rainbow Dash chuckled softly. "Yeah I hate reading unless it's a comic. This flyer is nice and all but it ain't a comic. So then I will meet you here after school?"

Fluttershy beamed and nodded. "Oh yes, right here will be fine... and if you can't get anyone else to come it's fine... I am just glad you are coming with me."

Rainbow Dash couldn't help but melt at the smile, Fluttershy's diabetes inducing smiles had worked like Kryptonite to Rainbow Dash's emotional armor. "Heh, I am glad too Fluttershy, you know we used to be very close, and don't tell anyone I said this but... I want that back... I want us to be friends like before. That weird girl pony princess chick, Twilight, showed us how important friendship is. I guess, and if you tell anyone I swear I will deny it, I just want my cuddle buddy back."

Fluttershy blushed and stammered, "I ... got ... to get to class." She ran off dropping the flyers and leaving a confused and dejected Rainbow Dash behind.

"Well that blows..." Rainbow Dash sighed before continuing, "What was I thinking... here I go, after such a long time of disconnect, declaring I want to be intimate again and expect the shyest girl in all of the world not to freak out." She then realized how it sounded. "Oh darn, I hope she didn't think I was trying to make a move on her... wait was I making a move on her? Nah... I don't have time for that."

The sound of the bell ringing had broken her stupor and she rushed off to class, she hoped her teacher wasn't in a bad mood or she could suffer detention and it would ruin her plans for the day.

So how do you like the first chapter?

some key notes I didn't follow the Cutie Mark Chronicles version of their meet up word by word or action by action. Things in pony world aren't the same in human world.

Also I am trying to keep them in character as much as I can while also telling a story of love and triumph and other shenanigans that come with it like trials and tribulations.

Anyways Enjoy.

Misunderstandings

Rainbow Dash was barely paying attention in class, she had other things on the mind. What was I thinking,I have too much things piling up as is, and now I decide to reconnect with Fluttershy? she barely heard the teacher ask her a question when she snapped out of her thoughts. "Huh?" she uttered haphazardly.

The teacher was bemused as he asked again, "What classification of mammals can lay eggs and show reptilian traits?"

Rainbow Dash forgot the word and wasn't as interested in getting the right answer. "Pass," she deadpanned.

The teacher raised his thick glasses and gave a stern look. "Ms. Dash please tell the entire class what is so important that you couldn't pay attention enough to answer such a simple question?"

Rainbow Dash looked at all the faces turned her way and felt her face turn crimson. "Well..."

Fluttershy was talking to Rarity about the event that took place earlier by the statue. "I was so confused so I just ran... I don't know what to do now Rarity?" Fluttershy began shuffling her right foot along the floor slowly.

Rarity felt so awful for her dear friend. "I tell you what I will get this straightened out. I will text Applejack and have her put Rainbow Dash in her place." She took her phone out of her purse angrily and began mashing her phone keys.

Fluttershy panicked and tried grabbing Rarity's phone. "Wait... don't send that text or it could make things worse," she softly called out.

Rarity looked at Fluttershy with an eyebrow raised and waited for her to continue on.

"I don't want any problems, and Rainbow Dash didn't do anything wrong," Fluttershy explained sadly.

Rarity smirked. "Fluttershy if you don't want my help in getting rid of Rainbow Dash's 'unwanted' advances what do you want?"

Fluttershy blushed and stammered, "Unwanted advances? She wasn't hitting on me... was she?"

Rarity giggled excitedly. "Of course she was, why else would she be so passionate about her plea? She must be head over heels for you."

Fluttershy was hesitant in believing Rarity, since nothing beyond a gesture of rekindling was made. "I'm not sure about all this."

Rarity frowned. "I have an idea... I can text Applejack and have her talk to Rainbow Dash. If she can gather the information we need, we can determine whether Rainbow Dash made a pass at you. Then everything will be fine, trust me."

Fluttershy seemed nervous. "Are you sure nothing can go wrong?"

Rarity waved her hand passively. "Please Fluttershy, what's the worse that could happen?"

Pinkie Pie had been given the esteemed 'pleasure' of having Sunset Shimmer be her assistant. Celestia felt if Sunset Shimmer could do community service and truly reform than she could be forgiven for her past deeds. Pinkie being the girl who loved having friends the most decided to take Sunset under her wing.

"No Sunset! you are supposed to put the streamers over there!" Pinkie shouted after having to deal with an unruly assistant.

Sunset sighed out of boredom and looked around the storage room. "Pinkie does it really matter? You are the only person with access to this room." Sunset hated her path to redemption that she was on. She was almost the ruler of the entire world until Twilight and the others ruined it all.

Pinkie Pie was infuriated with the constant attitude that Sunset was giving her. "Look Sunset, why are you still being a meanie pants? I thought you wanted friends?"

Sunset chuckled . "Yeah well look how well that is doing for me... I have no friends Pinkie Pie... and I have apologized one hundred times over." She frowned and held back the tears she shed that night.

Pinkie softened and whispered, "That's not true Sunset... you already have one friend... me."

It was almost time for lunch when Rainbow Dash went to the bathroom and bumped into Applejack. "Hey AJ, fancy meeting you here," Rainbow Dash joked. She was smiling freely until she noticed the serious look on her friend's face. "So what's with the look?"

Applejack made sure the bathroom was devoid of other girls before she began speaking. "Alright sugarcube, fess up, what's with this whole Fluttershy business?"

Rainbow Dash gave Applejack a nervous look. "What Fluttershy business?"

The farm girl was not one for being fooled and disliked being lied to. "Don't play dumb with me RD, I got a text from Rarity sayin' ya were practically pouncin' on the poor thing."

Rainbow Dash blushed at the imagery. "No! You got it all wrong. Look I was just talking to Fluttershy about helping out at the shelter... and I may have admitted something about how I feel about our friendship."

Applejack chuckled. "Shoot Rainbow Dash, ain't no shame in lovin' a girl."

Rainbow Dash went wide eyed. "Love? What exactly are you getting at? I just want to get close to Shy again, nothing sappy about it."

Applejack searched her face for deception. "Then ya ain't thinkin' of bein' more than friends with Fluttershy?" she asked curiously.

Rainbow Dash was going to answer that question but someone came into the bathroom. "Hey look I will get this all straightened out with Shy at lunch, for now I really gotta go, nature is calling and it doesn't feel like being put on hold."

Scootaloo was sitting in class mostly looking at the clock since it was nearing lunch. She was excited about being able to spend time with her idol and honorary sister Rainbow Dash. She was hungry as well, but that wasn't as important.

Scootaloo had no siblings growing up and always admired Rainbow Dash. One day while she was hanging out with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle she expressed her desire to have some time to hang out with Rainbow Dash. Apple Bloom had suggested they all go camping since she and her sister did it on some weekends.

Sweetie Belle wanted to go as well and convinced, or manipulated, Rarity into going so she could attend. With their camping trip set, the excited girls were eager to spend time with their sisters and each other.

The trip was mostly awful for Scootaloo who ended up getting scared and making a fool of herself. It wasn't until the final night of the trip that she ended up having her bonding time with Rainbow Dash.

____________________________________________________________

Scootaloo wasn't able to sleep, after hearing the grisly campfire stories Rainbow Dash was telling earlier. She was beginning to hear noises from lack of sleep, and she ran off scared into the woods. Her brain practically fried and paranoid was causing her to panic and run blindly.

She ended up running off a cliff into a ravine. As if that wasn't bad enough, the ravine had a strong current and it forced her body to move towards the edge of the waterfall. She was screaming and crying for help, and all seemed lost. Just before she fell over a hand grabbed her from the water and pulled her to safety just in time.

Rainbow Dash was relieved she was able to find the girl in time before disaster struck. "Gotcha..."

Scootaloo, ever grateful, began tearing up in happiness that she was saved. "Rain...bow ...Dash,' She sobbed out.

Rainbow Dash sighed and looked at the shaking child. "Hey! what the heck was that all about? You nearly died!"

Scootaloo cried out even more in fear of disappointing the one person she wanted to impress. "I am sorry.. I was just... scared of the story you told and I couldn't sleep. I thought I heard noises so I ran out and ... I... well... you know the rest," she stammered tearfully.

Rainbow Dash softened and got closer to the little girl. "Hey Scootaloo, why didn't you tell me you were scared?" she asked feeling guilty. She never imagined the girl putting on the brave face was really frightened beyond belief.

Scootaloo looked away embarrassed. "Well I wanted to impress you, so that you would think I am cool. I wanted you to take me under your wing and be, like, my big sister."

Rainbow Dash got closer to the shaking girl and began talking."Well I'll let you in on a little secret, and if you tell anyone I will deny it. When I first heard those stories..." she looked around to make sure she wasn't being heard. "I was scared as well."

Scootaloo was surprised at the admission. "You were?" she curiously yelped.

Rainbow Dash chuckled softly. "Yeah, until I realized that if monsters were real I could totally take em out. Still you said you’re looking for someone to take you under their wing?" She asked while wrapping her arms around Scootaloo. "I think I can do that. Just don't go falling into ravines anytime soon okay?"

Scootaloo smiled with the utmost joy surging through her. "Deal." She felt Rainbow Dash's cheek rub hers and she blushed. She had never expected to have someone be as warm to her that wasn't actually family. She felt like the world did her a solid and would never be ungrateful about it.

____________________________________________________________

Scootaloo was fond of that memory. She was lucky that Rainbow Dash heard her running off and wasn't a heavy sleeper. It would have been a different story had Rainbow Dash not made it in time.

Apple Bloom noticed how spaced out Scootaloo was and became worried that she would get caught day dreaming by Ms. Cheerilee. "Psst Scootaloo... yer spacin' out again."

Scootaloo sighed softly. "Sorry... just school is so boring. I can't wait for lunch so I can hang out with Rainbow Dash," she whispered.

Diamond Tiara noticed the two girls whispering and decided to get them in trouble. "Hey Ms. Cheerilee, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo are whispering things, and I can't focus on my reading because of it." She looked over and smiled at them wickedly.

Cheerilee looked up from her textbook and sighed. "Girls, you know better than that. If you disrupt the other students again I will have no other choice but to give you detention." Cheerilee didn't like watching over detention, and with snips and snails finally out of detention, she thought it would be nice to have a break from it.

Scootaloo and Apple Bloom scowled at Diamond Tiara, While Sweetie Belle and Silver Spoon both stood out of it. The fights between the younger female students had been common since Diamond Tiara began picking on Apple Bloom a couple years ago.

Lunch had finally arrived and the fabulous five, plus Sunset Shimmer, were sitting together at a table. Usually Sunset Shimmer ate alone until recently when Pinkie began inviting her to spend time at lunch together. Sunset hated Pinkie being so kind and forgiving, she didn't feel like she earned that from anyone just yet.

Rainbow Dash didn't feel comfortable talking about her emotions in front of her friends so she needed to isolate herself and Fluttershy. "Hey Fluttershy mind eating lunch with me elsewhere? I want to talk with you about something personal." The silence was deafening, even with a loud lunchroom full of chatty teenagers and younger students, no noise could be heard.

Rarity was giving off a starry look of excitement. She hadn't been given the bad news by Applejack that it wasn't anything romantic.

Applejack was displaying no emotion towards the words for she didn't feel like it would impact her in the slightest.

Pinkie Pie seemed confused and was going to ask about what was going on until Rarity put hand over her mouth.

Sunset Shimmer continued eating ignoring everything since she wasn't involved in any of their affairs.

Fluttershy blushed as her heart began beating faster. Fear surged through her like electricity as she slowly responded. "Y..e...s, I mean yes. Let's go somewhere private Rainbow Dash." She hesitantly got up and walked outside of the cafeteria with Rainbow Dash leading her somewhere unknown.

When they were out of site Rarity giggled like the schoolgirl she was. "Oh my... did you see that. Rainbow Dash is going to confess her undying love for Fluttershy!" she exclaimed in joy.

Applejack felt she better handle damage control now before rumors ended up spreading. "Now wait jus' a second sugar cube, Rainbow Dash ain't said nothin' about bein' with Fluttershy. She made it somewhat clear it ain’t nothin' romantic."

Rarity felt sad. "That's tragic! Here we were on the precipice of true romance and you destroyed my hope," she said angrily.

Pinkie Pie decided to jump in. "Wait a second... what's going on?"

Sunset Shimmer decided to answer for them. "Well Pinkie, it seems your two friends didn't fill you in on the possibility of Rainbow Dash becoming girlfriends with Fluttershy!"

Pinkie Pie waited until the words sunk in before she let out a mighty gasp. “We should throw them a huge party!” she exclaimed loudly.

I just love how these girls jump the gun and decided to use that in this story.

Anyways like with Rainbow and Fluttershy's meeting story, RD's and Scootaloo's was altered to make sense in the human world. So no Luna being there to watch over them since Luna is a VP at Canterlot high and that would make things awkward.

In the zone.

Rainbow Dash brought Fluttershy to the bleachers to have their private lunch. When they sat down they got comfortable sitting close by as they ate in peaceful silence. Rainbow Dash knew she had to clear things up with Fluttershy, but the serene atmosphere altered her decision.

Fluttershy finished eating her light meal early and laid her head on Rainbow Dash's shoulder. "This is nice, Rainbow Dash."
She eyed the sky and watched the sun dance slowly across the sky while her head was gently nestled on the shoulder of her longest friend.

Rainbow Dash sighed softly before addressing the issue at hand. "Fluttershy, about earlier today... I didn't mean to scare you off like that."

Fluttershy giggled softly. "It's okay, Rainbow Dash, I just didn't expect it."

Rainbow Dash blushed while looking around. "So yeah, about our plans this afternoon. I just want to make sure we are on the same page here."

Fluttershy looked towards Rainbow Dash's face, which was staring at hers. "Right, so what page are we on?"

Rainbow Dash was lost in the eyes of her friend, she couldn't help but stumble on her words. "Well... the ... page... where we have fun together." She mentally slapped herself for not being able to set things straight.

Fluttershy smiled with an intensity that would make even Pinkie jealous. "I am so excited. I will admit I was hesitant at first because I didn't think you would be interested in me like that. I mean, I am just so weak and slow moving and not that exciting."

Rainbow Dash could see they weren't on the same page but didn't interrupt Fluttershy as she went on with her babbling.

"You're exactly the opposite of me, and so I was worried you were just trying to play a mean prank on me by asking me out," she said with a small frown.

Rainbow Dash didn't have the heart to be honest and correct her, though with soccer season coming up, she knew she would have no time for dating. "Fluttershy..." she managed to get out before staring into the sea of hope that was Fluttershy's eyes. Damn it I can't go through with this, I can't let her believe we are together. Still how could I deny her when she is this happy? Be strong Rainbow Dash you can totally do this! "can I hold your hand?"

____________________________________________________________

Scootaloo was searching the cafeteria for Rainbow Dash. She spotted the other three friends and a former evil student sitting together and decided she would approach them. Just be cool, Scootaloo, and they will give you the answers you seek.

Rarity was busy arguing with Applejack about the possibility of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash already making out as they spoke. "Seriously I mean how long would it take Rainbow Dash to really set things straight if she wasn't aiming to win Fluttershy over?"

Applejack wasn't paying attention to anything else either. "Well RD said she was goin' to set things straight, knowin' her, it could be takin' longer than expected."

Pinkie Pie was feeling hug happy from the possible good news and had her arms wrapped around a struggling Sunset Shimmer. "This makes me soooo happy!"

Sunset Shimmer was trying to pry Pinkie off, to no avail. "Yeah... so be happy with your arms not wrapped around me, people might get the wrong idea."

Scootaloo was being ignored unintentionally and decided to cough. "Ahem, so... have you guys seen Rainbow Dash anywhere?"

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash gently clasped hands with Fluttershy. The intense emotional turmoil was being suppressed by the smoothness of her friend's hand. "Wow Fluttershy, your hand is really soft," she said in amazement. I can't believe she is this soft... and so beautiful. Wait! what am I doing? I have soccer and Scootaloo to deal with. I need to fix this before it gets any worse.

Fluttershy, who was wearing crimson cheeks, had giggled. "That's because I don't play rough sports like you do, Dashie." She gazed into her friend's eyes and could see her joy reflecting off them. She had a tingly feeling and the urge to kiss Rainbow Dash. What am I thinking... I can't kiss her now, it's too soon. Fluttershy, keep yourself calm and don't ruin this.

Rainbow Dash stared at Fluttershy and began leaning her head forward. What am I doing? I can't kiss Fluttershy, stop, you idiot, stop now! She mentally begged for her body to obey, but with instinct taking over, it wasn't going to listen.

Their faces merely inches apart, both girls had their eyes closed and lips pursed. Just before their lips could connect, the sound of a little girl, with a Dash obsession, had broken the spell of the moment.

"Hey Rainbow Dash, I thought we were going to have lunch together?" Scootaloo asked while running closer to the two girls.

Fluttershy squeaked a "sorry" and ran off with crimson cheeks. Oh, oh my, that was close... I have to tell Rarity, I don't know what to do. I have never dated, and especially not a girl like Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash watched Fluttershy rush off and noticed how cold her hand felt without the warmth of her dearest friend. "Well Scoots... you got me now. I'm sorry for bailing but I had an emergency."

Scootaloo sat next to Rainbow Dash and opened her paper bag. "So what kind of emergency?" She asked, while pulling out a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

____________________________________________________________

Rarity looked at her phone and saw a text from Fluttershy and grinned. "Oh Apples, I think you might want to see this, darling."

Applejack grabbed the phone with a tiny ounce of anger from the nickname. "Alright let's see here. The hey! Oh great now what?"

Rarity giggled. "Now you owe me dinner, as agreed upon," she said cheerfully.

Sunset looked at both of them and laughed. "Don't tell me you two?"

Rarity blushed and looked away, while Applejack got even angrier. "Are ya kiddin' me? Jus' because I owe her dinner doesn't mean I'm goin' to invite her home after."

Pinkie Pie laughed. "She didn't say anything about taking Rarity home, silly."

Applejack blushed and sat down with rage. "Anyways I'm not dating Rarity and she isn't dating me, end of story."

____________________________________________________________

After lunch they had gym, which wasn't the best combination in the world. Most of the students knew which people to avoid when being on opposite teams of them. Rainbow Dash was the super star at the school and barely anyone had the courage to face her in any sport.

Applejack was a close second with her freakish strength and moderate flexibility. The eternal rivals for physical dominance loved being on opposite teams for any sport on any given day. Which usually meant a roster would be made and people would be placed either on Team Dash or Team Apple.

Once someone suggested the name Team Rainbow as a dig at Rainbow Dash's name, earning him a one way ticket to the hospital courtesy of the rainbow haired athlete. The other team name for Applejack was Team Jack but that didn't sit well with the farmer and preferred Team Apple.

Fluttershy didn't like violence and hated being in competitions. With special permission from Celestia herself, Fluttershy was given freedom of participation. "Go Dashie," she cheered with her soft voice. She had the heart for cheering, just not the decibels needed.

Today the students were going to play soccer and that meant Rainbow Dash was going to be in the zone and destroy the competition. Applejack knew the pressure of keeping on such a fast opponent and even tried strategies to counter Rainbow's amazing speed and kicks.

While the match was starting up Rarity began fanning herself. "It's rather hot for playing... sports... can I sit out too?" she asked with a whiny tone.

Since no one would miss the lack of effort she put into playing they allowed her to sit down. Applejack was down a team member which meant they had to pick someone else from the bleachers. "Alright Sunset you're in."

Sunset made no efforts to move from her spot and moved her sunglasses down a bit to give Applejack a sassy look.

Applejack had no time for games, despite playing a game, and gave her a menacing look. "Get your hind end out on the field or I'll teach ya some manners."

Sunset sighed and got up "I really hate this... I don't even like sports."

____________________________________________________________

Fluttershy was watching the equivalent of a predator in the wild mercilessly destroying it's prey. The intense movement of her potential girlfriend was exhilarating to watch. "Go Dashie, woohoo," she cheered her heart out. It wasn't loud or by any means impressive, but it did make Rainbow Dash smile.

Focus on the game, not the girl. Wait I earned myself a personal cheerleader... who might wear the uniform... focus on the game!Rainbow Dash had been in the zone and making the game practically one sided. It wasn't without effort, but it was definitely not challenging enough.

She thought about cancelling the impromptu almost date, with Fluttershy, to stay after and work on her form more. She had planned a nice little rain check speech, but one look at Fluttershy had destroyed any thought of doing so. She cursed herself as she knew that her life was going to get more difficult with the addition of her favorite person in the world being around more.

She was so distracted she didn't notice the whirling ball of doom heading towards her. Oh crap! The ball pelted her face and bloodied her nose. "Darn it..." she held her hand over her nose and tried shrugging off the urge to cry from the pain.

"Someone get the med-kit... we got a bleeder," Applejack yelled out. She walked towards Rainbow Dash and guilty asked, "What happened RD? You never get blindsided liked that."

Rainbow Dash tried playing it off. "It's nothing I'm fine, just got bored is all."

Fluttershy ran towards the field and rushed to Rainbow Dash's side. "Does it hurt? Are you okay? Oh my, it looks bad... don't worry I will fix it all up." She flagged over the person who ran to get the med-kit and gently tended to Rainbow Dash's injury. "Now just hold still while I make it all better," she said in her gentle tone.

Rainbow Dash blushed at how motherly Fluttershy was being. It felt nice, being taken care of for once. "Hey Shy, is it broken?" she asked embarrassed.

Fluttershy had no medical degree but was skilled in caring for others. "No, it's bruised, not broken... you will be just fine." she leaned in and kissed Rainbow Dash's nose and giggled. "There all better," she said cheerfully before remembering she was surrounded by students. Oh... shoot!

____________________________________________________________

Word spread like wildfire and all over school the news was in. Rainbow Dash was going out with Fluttershy. Whether it was accurate or not, it was what they believed and everybody had their opinions of it.

Some people were happy for the new couple, even if they that Rainbow Dash could have done better. Some were enraged about it since they either liked Rainbow Dash, or wanted Fluttershy. Very few though were upset because of the same sex pairing.

Pinkie Pie was ready to throw a party, which only one person questioned the use of school funding for personal parties. "Well it's okay because Principal Celestia approves any party I want to throw."

Sunset Shimmer gave an odd look. "Why is that?"

Pinkie Pie chuckled. "It's because I bake the best cakes, and she loves to eat them!" She was always looking for an excuse to throw a party and this one would be special.

Sunset grinned at the news, and decided, she could use Pinkie’s link to Celestia to her advantage.

Rainbow Dash was hiding out with Fluttershy. All the attention that was going their way was scaring the meeker of the two. "Hey Shy... sorry this all happened, I guess it was to be expected."

Fluttershy was shaking. "I'm scared Rainbow Dash... what if someone tries to hurt us?"

Rainbow Dash smiled and held her close. With confidence brimming from her voice she whispered, "No one is going to hurt you, Shy, I promise."

So yeah now a misunderstanding leads to an unexpected romance. Rainbow Dash can't focus on all three things and will have to make due with trying.

Things are just starting folks. The story is merely at the beginning. Which means I have to write a lot... darn it!

Anyways I hope you have enjoyed this chapter.

If there are any major mistakes please notify me as soon as possible :P

Can't save them all

Rainbow Dash was at the statue promptly after school had ended. She didn't want to waste a moment's time with anything else. She looked around noticing no sign of Fluttershy and assumed the worst. Well maybe she didn't want to make thing worst by showing up.

She waited a minute and realized that Fluttershy was a no show. She began heading out until she heard a loud "Wait!" coming from behind her. She turned around and sure enough it was Fluttershy calling out to her.

Fluttershy was making her way to Rainbow Dash in a hurry. "I'm sorry... I was held up by Rarity who was going on about her dinner plans." Fluttershy slowly drew lines on the cement with her feet.

Rainbow Dash smiled. "It's ok Shy, I was just not sure if you decided to cancel, on account of what happened earlier."

Fluttershy looked up sadly. "Do you want to cancel?"

Rainbow Dash shook her head sideways and slipped her hand into Fluttershy's own. "Let's go, those animals won't care for themselves now will they?"

Fluttershy blushed and held onto Rainbow Dash's hand dearly. "No they won't... let's go Dashie."

Rarity was excited about dinner. "What are you going to wear, darling?"

Applejack wasn't "I don't really know sugar cube. Depends where ya makin' me take ya tonight."

Rarity, walking side by side with Applejack, began thinking of where she would enjoy dining tonight. She knew Applejack couldn't afford the fancier places, given her occupation, but she didn't mind too much.

"Well there is this quaint little bistro not too far from where I live, darling."

"Rarity, as long as it ain't goin' to drain me of money, I don't mind payin' for a good meal."

"Applejack, you know I wouldn't make you waste too much on me. I just want to have a nice quiet dinner without my little sister or parents being all... weird."

Applejack became silent and walked a little slower. It was hard to hear people talk about family in an awful way. She was a family oriented farm girl, with a tragic situation. She had no parents to speak of and when reminded of that fact it hurt deeply.

Rarity gasped in her error and turned to see a small tear fall from Applejack's face. "I am so sorry, darling. Please forgive me, and let me pay tonight instead."

Applejack wiped the tear away and gave a fake smile. "It's fine sugar cube, jus' sand in my eye is all. Anyways, don't fret, I'm still payin' tonight."

Rarity wrapped her arms around Applejack and embraced her gently. "Don't have to always be the tough girl, I’m your friend and will always be here to talk if you need it."

Applejack hugged Rarity back with all her might. "Rarity, I know and please don't worry, I'm fine."

Rainbow Dash walked hand in hand with Fluttershy all the way to the animal shelter. Along the way they got looks from some people, not all approving. She didn't care what the world thought of her as long as they left Fluttershy alone. The trip was semi-pleasant as the atmosphere shifted with each passerby giving a judgmental look or gentle nod.

When they arrived at the shelter they let go of each other's hand since they had other things to focus on. While they had all the time in the world to spend together, they had a limited time at the shelter for helping out.

The owner of the shelter enjoyed seeing Fluttershy arrive, since she was like an angel. "Well if it isn't our own little angel, here to rescue the animals from another miserable day."

Fluttershy blushed at the compliment and gave the approaching male a hug. "Oh stop calling me that, I already told you, I just try my hardest to help the poor animals."

The man looked to the side noticing a rainbow haired girl that he didn't recognize. "Wait a second, is this the legendary Rainbow Dash I keep hearing about?" he asked excited.

Rainbow Dash looked to Fluttershy, who was looking down and swiping her feet along the floor slowly. "You talk about me Shy?"

Fluttershy nodded silently. Oh why did you have to say that, now she probably thinks I bad mouth her in front of people.

The owner of the place quickly intervened. "It's all good news I assure you. She thinks highly of you and if you are the same friend she says you are, than I am glad to have you helping today. You are here to help right?"

Rainbow Dash smiled a bit. "Yeah, I guess I am." She gently squeezed Fluttershy's hand, earning her a smile.

"Well than ladies right this way, first I will have to go over a few rules since you are new," he informed gently. "First rule is, we don't get aggressive no matter what. These animals are either rescued from bad situations or just not being given the right care."

Rainbow Dash frowned. "Who would want to hurt cute animals?"

Fluttershy got angry. "Monsters would... evil heartless monsters." a soft tear fell from her eye from the pain of knowing the abuse animals are given.

"Yes, she is right. Horrible people think that pets are nothing more than living toys and it can lead to some heart breaking situations," the owner said softly. Guiding newcomers was always difficult for him with the information he had to share.

Rainbow Dash rubbed Fluttershy's hand with her thumb. "Well don't worry I'm not going to get rowdy... plus Fluttershy will teach me what to do."

The owner noticed the subtleties between the two and smiled. "Well it seems you brought in a winner Fluttershy. Since I am sure you can handle teaching Rainbow Dash the proper way of doing things, I will let you two be."

Rainbow Dash waited till the owner left before asking, "Is he always like this?"

Fluttershy smiled. "Yes, he loves animals like I do, and loves it when people come to help. Well time to get the aprons on and get to work."

Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow. "Aprons? I don't do aprons."

Fluttershy used the cutest begging face she could muster. "Please... for me Dashie?"

Rainbow Dash was no match for such levels of cuteness. "Alright... but you tell anyone and I will totally be angry."

Fluttershy leaned over and kissed Rainbow Dash's cheek. "Don't worry I won't tell anyone."

Rainbow Dash stood dumbfounded at Fluttershy's bold move. "Hey Fluttershy, aren't you well you know... shy?"

Fluttershy giggled. "Not when I am comfortable... this place is a sanctuary for me... I don't have to worry about being bothered by anyone. I like it here."

Rainbow Dash decided to test this theory. "Hey Fluttershy... you remember how we almost kissed but Scootaloo kinda messed that up?"

Fluttershy blushed and twiddled her thumbs together. "Yes... why?"

Rainbow Dash felt her heartbeat skip before she hesitantly asked, "Can .... we.... kiss?"

Fluttershy looked around the changing station and whispered, "Yes... I think we can."

Rainbow Dash leaned in and closed her eyes. Oh my gosh I am going to kiss Shy...what if she doesn't like it. Wait! What if she does? Oh let's just hope I don't mess this up.

Fluttershy gently moved her lips closer to the approaching pair. Is this really happening? I am scared, what if I'm not a good kisser... this is going to be my first kiss... oh no.

Slowly the two lips met and a small spark ignited a growing flame. The two girls held each other and kept the kiss going. It wasn't sultry or sloppy, but instead a gentle and loving kiss.

Rainbow Dash broke the kiss and looked deeply into Fluttershy's eyes. "Why did we wait so long to do this?"

Fluttershy stared back with intensity and whispered, "I don't know... but I am glad it finally happened."

Pinkie Pie worked part time at the baker while going to school and being the party planner of Canterlot High. She was on her way home when Sunset Shimmer decided to join her and hang out. Pinkie Pie was eager to have a friend hang out and accepted.

Sunset Shimmer was scheming something to get her back on top. She was going to record Celestia accepting the cake, Pinkie made, and use the evidence to blackmail the principal and Pinkie Pie. Two for one and all I have to do is stand being around such an irritating girl.

"Sunset, can I call you Sunny?"

"Why would I want you to do that?"

"Because then it can be my special name for you."

"I think I will pass, are you sure Celestia will be here today?"

"Yes, unless she and Luna get into another fight."

"Oh, another fight?"

"Yeah! It seems Celestia lives with Luna, who wants my cakes, and Celestia doesn't share them."

"Oh, a sisterly fight... I thought you meant they actually fight."

"Nah, those two... please, they are like day and night."

"You have no idea, they literally are day and night."

"Oh yeah, you come from that other world like Twilight did."

"Yeah, that's right I did."

"What's it like? Don't get me wrong I love it here just... sometimes I think I would be happier if... never mind, just me being silly."

Sunset was going to pry, until she remembered she didn't care about Pinkie Pie. "Anyways... let's just talk about something else. I really hate talking about my home."

Applejack was tending to the farm alongside her brother Big Mac. She was taking care of some chores in agreement with Granny's decision to let Applejack have some money for her 'non date'. "Sure is a nice day today huh, Big Mac."

Big Mac grinned. "Yes it is sis. I know it's a good one for you, more than for me."

Applejack could detect the tone and snarled. "Listen here brother jus' because I'm takin' Rarity out to dinner ain't mean I love her like that."

Big Mac chuckled. "Is that so? Well than it isn't Rarity who's in your room right now pickin' an outfit for ya to wear?"

Applejack blushed. "She jus' wants me to look good is all. Ain't nothin' wrong with that."

Big Mac put on a serious look on his face. "Applejack, I honestly don't care if ya like girls or boys. I think if ya goin' to be happy with her, than be happy."

Applejack had crimson cheeks. "I already told ya, that it ain't like that!"

Rarity called from afar. "Yoohoo, Applejack, I found an outfit for you to wear... it was very difficult but I managed to pull a winner."

Applejack turned around and smiled. "Almost done workin' the fields sugar cube, be there soon."

Big Mac hid a grin and whispered inaudibly. "Sure seems that way."

Rainbow Dash was being given the tour of the back area where the animals were kept. She didn't enjoy the sad look on the faces of the animals. It didn't last long as Fluttershy's presence had made the animals spark with life and be energetic.

"So this is what he meant by an angel. Those animals sure love you, Shy."

Fluttershy giggled. "I love them too, they each have their own story and I try to make their lives wonderful here... but I can't do it alone."

Rainbow Dash sighed. "Fluttershy you know you can't save them all... but I will try and see if I can come by more often and help."

Fluttershy beamed. "That would be wonderful. Though, won't it be hard with your sports and stuff?"

Rainbow Dash rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "Yeah, I guess it will be a problem. Just know this, when I make it big this place is definitely going to get more funding."

Fluttershy chuckled. "Oh Dashie, you're so silly."

"Yeah, but only for you, Shy, only for you." Rainbow Dash kissed Fluttershy's forehead and looked around. "So how about we actually get started, and help these animals have a better day than they’re having so far?"

Fluttershy was feeling immense joy. "Yay!"

Well hope you enjoyed another chapter of the story

It's really been fun writing this story so far so I am always eager to update it.

Though I don't want to rush so I am keeping a once every two day schedule until my other stories are completed than I could get to once a day updates.

Dinner time

Sunset Shimmer was waiting patiently for Celestia to show up and retrieve the cake, so she could take pictures of the event and use them for blackmail. She had been chatting away with Pinkie Pie in order to maintain the veil that she was there to hang out. With someone entering the shop she got excited until she noticed it was some weird silver haired girl.

Pinkie Pie immediately froze up and began frowning. "Welcome to Sugar Cube Corner, is there something you ordered?"

Sunset noticed how different Pinkie’s voice sounded, and something inside of her stirred.

The girl looked over and scoffed condescendingly before running a hand through her own hair. "Why would I order something from this dump. I am here because Rainbow Dash isn't answering her phone, and you usually know where she is."

Pinkie sighed. "I don't know where Rainbow Dash is Gilda... I can't help you find-"

"Don't give me excuses lame brain. I can tell you're lying now spill!" Gilda snapped.

Sunset Shimmer would have eaten this up, but with Pinkie being nice, it wasn't as fun to see. "Look Pinkie says she doesn't know, so she doesn't know."

Gilda chuckled. "Who is the flame-haired freak?"

Sunset got enraged. "I'm Sunset Shimmer, and if you know what's good for you, you will leave Pinkie alone."

Gilda laughed. "Who? Oh that girl Dash told me about that was too chicken to bully her. Unlike Rainbow Dash I do believe in violence solving every problem. So you better watch yourself."

Mrs. Cake came to the front of the store after hearing the noises. "Hello, is there anything I can help you with?"

Gilda looked over, faked a smile and gentle tone. "No I was just browsing. Lovely shop you have here, I will be going now." She left the shop with anger pouring from her.

Pinkie Pie smiled and hugged Sunset. "Thank you..."

Sunset groaned. "Get off of me... and you're welcome."

Pinkie beamed. "Sunset, since we are hanging out, want to stay for dinner?"

Sunset wanted to see Celestia order the cake and if she was staying till dinner it would make her cover story more believable. Part of her didn't want to admit that, she was also staying to ensure that silver haired freak didn't return.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash had never felt so tired in her life. "Whoa... this is a lot of work Shy, how do you manage all this stuff?"

Fluttershy chuckled. "I don't see it as work, that's why, Dashie."

Rainbow Dash noticed the time and sighed. "It's getting late, and I am getting hungry. Say want to get some grub together?"

Fluttershy frowned. "I don't really have money to spend, but it's okay you can go eat."

Rainbow Dash kissed her cheek gently. "Nonsense I can pay for both of us."

Fluttershy blushed and waved her arms. "But I don't want you spending your money like that. Oh wait I have an idea! I can make us a nice nutritious dinner and we can watch a movie together."

Rainbow Dash became enthused. "Sounds awesome. Just I need to take a quick shower so how about you go home with your mom today, and I will meet you, at your place, as soon as I clean and get changed."

"Oh, oh my... this will be so exciting," Fluttershy said with glee. She hugged Rainbow Dash and planted a soft kiss on her lips.

Rainbow Dash returned the kiss and held it for a moment. After the kiss ended Rainbow Dash spoke. "Well, it seems we have something to tell your mother at dinner, don't we."

Fluttershy blushed from the passionate kiss and nodded softly. "We sure do... well let's get ready to go, you're getting all stinky." She laughed cutely.

"We don't have to go right away," Rainbow Dash said before kissing Fluttershy softly.

Fluttershy had to agree with Rainbow Dash on that.

___________________________________________________________

When dinner time rolled around Rarity and Applejack had been dressed, groomed, and looking fabulous. "This night is going to be great, Darling." Rarity was at a table sitting in front of Applejack and waiting to order.

"Why you say that, sugar cube?"

"Because it's true. We are going to have a nice relaxing meal, and then if we have time maybe we can do something else."

"Wait... why something else? The deal was for dinner, this is dinner."

Rarity giggled softly.

"No seriously, Rarity, we agreed on just dinner... this ain't a date."

"Why does it have to be a date, in order for us to hang out more?

Applejack sighed. "What do ya have in mind, Rarity?"

Rarity pouted and whined, "Never mind, it seems I'm not good enough company."

Applejack placed her hands on Rarity's gently. "Don't ya go saying that, Rarity, ya know why I'm nervous about all this."

Rarity softened and gazed deeply into Applejack's eyes. "I know... but can we at least have fun tonight and forget all that?"

"Sure we can, sugar cube, we can have a grand ole time."

Just then, the waiter arrived and began asking them if they were ready to order. He noticed their hands were touching and mistook the situation. "May I suggest the couple's special. It's a meal that is meant to enhance the-"

"Whoa there Nelly! This ain't a date, and we ain't a couple," Applejack corrected.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash was on her way to Fluttershy's house when her phone started buzzing. She had forgotten to check the device, and all the missed calls and texts, after exiting the animal shelter. "Whoops!" she blurted in embarrassment. She checked the texts and they were mostly from Gilda.

"Oh great... why now? Of all times for her to be around."

Rainbow Dash noticed the other calls and texts were still numerous, even discounting Gilda's. "Darn, it seems spending those hours away from my phone wasn't a smart move... being captain of all the sport teams I should have expected this."

She spent the rest of the walk responding to missed calls and texts, it was the least she could do.

____________________________________________________________

Sunset Shimmer had the chance of a lifetime to blackmail Pinkie and Celestia both and she blew it. She had the camera lined up and the phone's key ready to be pressed. Though something stopped her and she missed the fleeting moment. It was weighing on her mind heavily. Why didn't I just do it... why did I hesitate? Am I starting to like Pinkie as a friend? No... I can't start liking her as a friend... just calm down and the opportunity will present itself again.

Pinkie was eating another slice of cheese pizza and wasn't paying attention to Sunset's mood swings. "Pizza is so yummy!"

Sunset chuckled. "Yeah it is... hey thanks again for springing for the food, I will get it next time." Wait I just said what?

Pinkie beamed. "You mean, you actually want to hang out again?"

Sunset was determined to say no. "Yeah." Traitor!

Pinkie Pie went silent. Not the quiet enjoyable kind of silent, instead it was the "this is too good to be true" silent.

Sunset could tell there was a question coming. "Pinkie what is it?"

Pinkie Pie shed a tear and began shaking. "Why am I so stupid?"

Sunset was genuinely confused. "What?"

Pinkie sadly smiled. "I saw you earlier, with the phone out. I know what you were doing... still I ordered the pizza and am eating with you."

Sunset felt an emotion that resembled guilt. "Oh... well I didn't do it."

Pinkie sobbed. "That isn't the point! I thought you wanted to hang out today... and all you wanted was a chance to use me."

Sunset wanted to bail and get out while she could. "Yes... I did. I wanted to use you. I just don't think I can be a nice person and you're trying so hard that I thought, if I did something horrible, you wouldn't try so hard."

Pinkie wiped her own tears away. "Well you have succeeded. I no longer wish to try and make you a friend. I won't even bother you anymore."

Sunset's mind began dancing wildly with thoughts. Emotions rolled through her like a rogue wheel. "Wait! I don't want you to give up... I said I did. I wanted to use you... but then, I realized... never mind I am going." She got up to leave and felt a hand on hers.

Pinkie Pie looked into her eyes. "If you want to really be my friend then stay, if you rather we just stop trying then go."

Sunset sat back down and smiled. "Your funeral."

____________________________________________________________

Fluttershy was so nervous that she was fumbling with everything. "Salad fork goes here... no wait here... oh wait..."

Her mother noticed how shaky and skittish Fluttershy was being tonight. "Fluttershy, what's going on my dear?"

Fluttershy was on the verge of breaking down. "Well I just want dinner to go well. Rainbow Dash went to the animal shelter with me and really helped. I just want to show her how much that meant to me... and how much she means to me."

Fluttershy's mom was putting the pieces together in her head. "Rainbow Dash, I haven't heard that name being used in such way since before you two stopped being attached at the hip."

Fluttershy blushed. "Well... you see..."

"Don't worry my dearest, Fluttershy, I knew this would one day happen. You shouldn't be ashamed of it either," The pink haired woman said gently. "Plus at least Rainbow Dash can't get you pregnant so that's always a plus," she joked.

Fluttershy's face became bright red and she ran off to the kitchen.

When the door knocked the playful mother decided to get the door while Fluttershy had time to recover. She opened the door and saw Rainbow Dash dressed nicely. "Well long time no see Rainbow Dash. Before I invite you in, I must ask this as a mother..." she paused for dramatic effect. "What are your intentions with my daughter."

Rainbow Dash gulped. "I have nothing but good intentions, I swear!"

The woman laughed playfully. "Oh relax Rainbow Dash, it's good that you two are dating. Sure it isn't ideal but, better you than some horn dog wanting to use my daughter."

"So can I come in?" Rainbow Dash asked with a blush.

"Yes, now relax, I know you're a good girl and that you really care for Fluttershy. I just hope you don't pull a stunt like you did before. I don't like seeing my daughter sad."

"Trust me, I will never hurt Fluttershy like that again. I ... care about her a lot."

"I know you do. Because if you didn't this would be a different conversation. Now enough scary mother talk, lets get some food. Fluttershy worked really hard on her salad. "

____________________________________________________________

Rarity was going on about some random thing, making Applejack regret making a deal. She was alright with taking Rarity in doses, too much and it would drive her crazy. "Look Rarity, I think after this dinner I'm going to bed early."

Rarity was stunned and tried hiding the hurt. "Oh... okay... it's understandable you work really hard on that farm."

Applejack looked away. "Yeah... that's it... the farm got me all tired."

Rarity puffed her cheeks in anger before ranting. "You know what Applejack, you're the worst friend ever. I spend my entire afternoon helping you get ready for a night of fun, and this is how you repay me? I thought we could have a nice night as friends, but you're so afraid of being even intimately seen with another girl, it's pathetic."

The people who overheard the outburst all turned to the cause of the disturbance and watched the drama unfold.

"Rarity, can we talk about this in private?" Applejack asked in a calm manner.

Rarity chuckled. "No, never mind. This dinner is over, I'm going to go home. You can enjoy the rest of this meal alone." She started walking out until Applejack grabbed her hand gently and pulled her close.

Applejack was face to face with Rarity. "It's late and we aren't in the nicest part of town. Ya can hate me all ya want... but not until I walk ya home. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if anything happened to ya."

Rarity blushed while leaning in with grace and subtle movement, and kissed Applejack on the lips softly. "Thanks..."

Applejack was stunned for a minute. "Check please..." she softly called out.

The crowd went back to their own meals and took a cute story about teenagers in love from the experience.

So yeah not quite Rarijack, yet. But it's slowly getting there.

As for the mother. I didn't know what to name her so for now she will be nameless, I am thinking of names that would fit but meh.

Also it seems Pinkie and Sunset might actually become friends.

With these things happening though how will Rainbow Dash's responsibilities as a captain affect her life? Will Gilda decide to do something irrational when she finds out Rainbow Dash is taken?

These things will be answered. In due time.

Sleeping over

The moon rose high in the sky during the darkness of the night. Applejack was at Rarity's house having a conversation that was lasting longer than expected.

Applejack was on the couch next to Rarity who was really close. Too close for comfort. "Rarity, it's getting late, I reckon I best be heading home."

Rarity held her down and looked into her eyes. "I don't want you to go, Applejack."

Applejack knew she had to leave before something in her did something she would regret. "Please, sugar cube, I know ya like me... and I like ya too. I jus' can't do this."

Rarity held on tighter. "Just stay the night. I won't be alright knowing you're out there alone in the darkness."

Applejack gave up on her plan of leaving. "Fine, but ya better not hog all the blankets."

Rarity hid her blush by burying her face into Applejack's shoulder. I didn't expect she would want to share a bed... or did she forget I have a guest room. If so should I remind her... my head says yes, my heart says no... Well heart looks like you win.

Applejack instinctively wrapped her arms around Rarity's body. "Ya alright, sugar cube?"

Rarity just squeaked a "yes" before praying her face turned back to her normal color. "I'm just excited you decided to stay. I know it doesn't mean we're a couple, but it's good knowing your safe."

____________________________________________________________

Sunset Shimmer was conned, that's it conned. There was no way in the world she would spend a night at Pinkie's place of living. Then what the heck am I doing here? She tried placing the events in order of how it happened but something was missing.

She was eating pizza, having a good time. She remembers getting to know Pinkie more, and the time slowly passing. Then night came and Mrs. Cake offered to drive her home. She almost accepted on the spot until Pinkie Pie offered the alternative.

Pinkie Pie was so excited about having a sleepover she wasn't able to stay still for a second. "This is going to be so fun!"

Sunset Shimmer thought of running out in the night and finding the hobble she called home. She didn't have any family here and lived in an abandoned house. "Yeah about that, isn't the point of a sleep over, you know sleeping?"

"Nope!" Pinkie replied enthusiastically. "It's about having fun and snuggling!"

"Wait what? Snuggling? Thats the line and I am drawing it."

"Awwww... meanie pants."

"No fair, you can't just expect me to throw away my comfort bubble for your sake."

Pinkie frowned. "I'm sorry..."

Sunset tried not looking but the sad face got her. "Alright we can snuggle... but you tell anyone and you die, got it?"

Pinkie jumped in joy "Yipee!"

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash looked at her phone randomly and saw the time. "Oh crap it's late. I gotta go Shy." Rainbow Dash gently kissed Fluttershy on the lips before attempting to head out.

Fluttershy's mom expertly got in the way of that happening. "It's late, you aren't going to run around in the dark so don't even think about it."

Rainbow Dash crossed her arms. "Then how am I supposed to have a good's night rest if I can't go home? I refuse to sleep on a couch."

Fluttershy's mom chuckled. "Well that's not my problem. I just know that I won't let you out there alone in the night."

Rainbow Dash became grumpy. "Then drive me home!"

Fluttershy tugged on Rainbow Dash's arm and, when she got her attention, she whispered something in her ear.

Rainbow Dash blushed. "Alright then I guess I'm staying."

Fluttershy's mother grinned. "Thought so. Now you two head up to bed, and no funny business."

____________________________________________________________

Applejack was gently laying on Rarity's bed waiting for Rarity to join her. "Hurry up I want to sleep, and don't need ya waking me up with ya gettin' on the bed later."

Rarity was busy applying her night mask and curlers. "I'm almost done, darling. I just need to make sure I look beautiful in the morning."

Applejack rolled her eyes and began drifting to sleep. She was rapidly fluttering her eyes and yawned. When her eye movement slowed down she noticed something hideous and scary when she opened them. "Ahh!"

Rarity freaked out at the screaming and screamed herself "Ahh!"

Applejack nearly had a heart attack from the green faced monster, that turned out to be Rarity. "What's the big idea?"

Rarity chuckled. "Applejack, this face cream keeps my skin nice and tight, don't want pores on this perfect face do you?"

Applejack regretted her decision to stay. "Take it off, before I make ya take it off."

Rarity changed her tone in a hurry. "You shall not take it off. I need this on all night."

Applejack licked her finger and lunged for Rarity's face. "I said it's coming off, and that's final!"

Rarity whined, "No! don't take it off, you brutish farm girl."

Applejack chuckled as she was able to get the cream off Rarity's face but their position was compromising. "I took it off and it's staying off!"

Just then Rarity's dad, with a bat came, into the room. He overheard what, he thought which was a totally different series of events, taking place. "Get your hands off my daughter!"

Sunset Shimmer had never believed in hell. Even coming from a mystical place like Equestria she didn't believe in hell, till tonight that is. "Pinkie... for the love of all that is good and right in the world, will you please stop moving so much?"

Pinkie Pie giggled. "I'm sorry, I just am so excited!"

Sunset sighed. "Listen Pinkie, I'm glad you're happy but we really need some sleep. You forget I need to go home early tomorrow and change my clothing and wash myself."

Pinkie stopped moving and poked her nose softly. "So where do you live Sunset? Next time we have a sleep over it should be at your place."

Sunset froze, she didn't have a good deflection. "Well... " she knew the only way out of this was to be a jerk. "Maybe I don't want to invite you over."

Pinkie stopped touching Sunset and frowned. "Oh, I guess you don't like sleepovers."

Sunset pulled Pinkie Pie close. "I didn't stay stop snuggling me. I just don't like inviting people to my house is all."

Pinkie put on her smile and became excited again. "That's okay! For a minute though I thought you didn't like me."

Sunset thought it over on what to say. "Well actually, out of all the people in this world. You're probably one of the few I do like."

Pinkie had too much joy to contain but knew she could potentially wake the cakes. Instead of doing something loud to show favor, she just tightened her hold on Sunset Shimmer. "This is the best night of my life."

Sunset blushed at the intimacy and the new surging emotions. She never had the heart to care about anyone before and here, and now, she was caring about Pinkie Pie. Her first true friend. "Mine as well. Mine as well, Pinkie."

Rainbow Dash was in Fluttershy's room ready to sleep in for the night. She was about to take her top off when Fluttershy gasped. "What?"

Fluttershy had a blush on her face. "Well... you were about to take your clothes off."

"Yeah, so? I sleep in my bra and panties," Rainbow Dash replied nonchalantly. She was going to strip again but felt hands on hers.

"You can't... that's not appropriate."

"Oh Shy please don't tell me I have to stay in this all night."

"Well... you can borrow one of my Pajamas."

"You can't be serious..."

"I... am..."

"Fine! so what kind of PJ's do you have anyways?"

Fluttershy smiled bright and pulled out two distinct Pajamas. One was a blue kitty pajama and the other was a green bunny pajama. "So which one do you like?"

Rainbow Dash wanted to cry at the sheer torture she was enduring. "Umm' how about you pick first, and I will get the one you don't want." She threw in a semi nervous laugh.

"Alright I think I will wear the bunny one. I love bunnies. Now turn around while I change, please."

"Seriously?"

"Yes!"

"Fine, fine I won't look." Rainbow Dash turned around and waited.

Fluttershy quickly changed and then alerted Rainbow Dash of her completion. "Now it's your turn," she said while turning away.

Rainbow Dash thought it was cute how shy her girlfriend truly was. "You know, Fluttershy, you can look if you want. I don't mind."

Fluttershy kept her back to Rainbow Dash as she blushed intensely. "No... that's alright... please hurry up."

Rainbow Dash chuckled. "Alright, alright. Sheesh, anyways I'm done. So ready for bed?"

Fluttershy got on the bed and patted a spot for Rainbow Dash to lay next to her. When Rainbow Dash got close enough she cuddled lovingly with her. "Now I am ready. Good night Dashie."

Rainbow Dash felt peaceful. It was at that moment she realized that this wasn't a fleeting feeling in her heart. "Goodnight, Shy."

____________________________________________________________

Gilda was alone in a hotel room looking at her phone and noticing no return texts or calls from Rainbow Dash. She knew their falling out was a pain, but she came back to fix things and wanted at least some modicum of respect or dignity. "Alright Rainbow Dash, I guess I will have to find out what's so important that you couldn't even reply to me."

Gilda decided to call someone who could give her some information. The phone rang a couple times before the call was picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's me Gilda."

"Oh Gilda, when you coming back to town?"

"I am in town. Now listen! Rainbow Dash what's the scoop with her?"

"Gilda, I thought you were getting over her?"

"Well I'm not! I still want my old buddy back and she won't give me the time of day. So what gives?"

"Well some freaky pony chick came to town and magical things happened."

"Do you want me to come down there and kick your ass?"

"I'm being dead serious. Anyways the pony stuff aside, I think the only other major thing going on in her life is... Oh..."

"Oh what?!"

"Well, I don't think you will like this, Gilda."

"What won't I like?"

"Rainbow Dash she's... kinda dating someone."

"Name the miserable piece of crap, and I will deal with them."

"Well that's the thing... it's Fluttershy."

"Fluttershy! that crybaby weakling?"

"Yeah..."

"Please tell me you're joking. My Rainbow Dash is dating puny little crybaby-shy?"

"Look Gilda, just let it go."

"No! If Rainbow Dash doesn't want to talk to me, because she is too busy being soft with Fluttershy, then I have to eliminate the obstacles in my way."

"Well you have fun doing that... I'm not going to be held responsible when you get ran out of town again."

"That's the thing... I'm not leaving town, not without my girl!"

"She was never your gi-"

Gilda hung up the phone and tossed it on her bed. "I hope you enjoyed your time playing with what belongs to me, Fluttershy, because I'm taking her back."

So yeah Gilda wants RD and she isn't going to take no for an answer.

Night time awkwardness for some and for others peace. For one soul it was a night of fury and anger.

What will the future hold for these girls? Will things all work out or will the stress of too much weigh down on them?

Who knows? I sure don't and I'm writing this XD

Obsession

Gilda wasn't from town, everyone knew that. The only thing they didn't know was her obsession was rampantly growing. She was becoming mentally unstable with each passing day. She had a small crush on Rainbow Dash when they were younger. It wasn't odd for anyone to be crushing on the wonder girl.

Rainbow Dash had been super athletic, and a braggart, since she was little. With the means to back up her smack talk, it easily lead her to being popular. Boys and girls of any sexual preference would swoon over her. It was harmless crushes that was easily shed upon actually meeting her.

While her reputation and presence was astonishing, the actual personality attached was sort of deterring. For most, they found her immature and belligerent. Though for some it was charming to see such a young spirited power house.

Gilda's obsession had started when Rainbow Dash met her the year Fluttershy couldn't make it to camp.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash was kicking rocks, out of boredom. She was gloomy and off put since Fluttershy wasn't able to make it to camp. Fluttershy was her everything at that point. They hung out together, played together, and even cuddled together. It was mind numbing without her.

Gilda noticed how down Rainbow Dash was and already being a fan of her, by reputation alone, she decided to approach her. "Hey aren't you Rainbow Dash?"

Rainbow Dash turned to see the intruder and smiled big. "Who wants to know?"

Gilda felt her heart flutter. "Gi.. Gilda."

Rainbow Dash could tell it was another fan wanting to meet her. "Oh so what can I do you for?"

Gilda decided to try and be cool. "Nothing, just wanted to meet you and hang. Unless you're busy."

"Nah I'm not busy at all. So you want to hang huh?"

"Yeah if it's not a problem."

"It's not G."

"G?"

"Yeah, that's your nickname, G."

"So can I call you D?"

"Only if you say you want it." Rainbow Dash chuckled to herself.

"I want the D?" Gilda blushed when she figured out the joke.

"See! I like ya already."

Gilda never felt such joy in her life. Being told she was liked by the cool girl. She was going to enjoy their friendship... perhaps too much.

____________________________________________________________

Gilda smiled at the memory that played in her head. She remember having Rainbow Dash all to herself in the summer and hanging out with her every waking second she could. That's when she discovered she wasn't the only person that Rainbow Dash had a soft spot for.

____________________________________________________________

Gilda was going to find Rainbow Dash in her room but found the room empty. "Rainbow Dash?" She looked around and used the opportunity to check through Rainbow Dash's personal effects. She knew it was wrong but it was her desire to know more about the girl she admired.

"What's this?" She held a picture up of Rainbow Dash and a feminine looking girl that was holding the rainbow haired athlete. "Why the hell is this bitch holding my Rainbow Dash like this?" She wanted to tear the picture to shreds but decided it wouldn't be in her best interest to.

She kept digging through things and found a letter that wasn't opened. "To Rainbow Dash from Fluttershy?" She had to read what was inside. She opened it up carelessly and looked through each word felt like a knife in her heart. "... So in short I'm really, really sorry I couldn't make it this year. Please know I miss you so much. Please take good care of yourself and I will see you when you get back. Love Fluttershy."

"Love!" Gilda shouted angrily. "Well Rainbow Dash hasn't read this here so chance is she doesn't even know it's here. Well it's a shame it got lost ..." she tore the letter and envelope to shreds and found the nearest trashcan to bury the evidence of her misdeed.

The rest of the summer was spent attaching herself to Rainbow Dash and omitting anything she knew about a letter.

____________________________________________________________

That memory stung her heart and made her angry. "Stupid letter, it almost ruined my summer. Well luckily it didn't." Gilda was currently standing at a bus stop that was going to take her to the school, she wasn't a student so a public bus would have to make do.

While waiting for the bus to come by she remembered the last day of summer camp. It was the most heart wrenching day and the last time she saw Rainbow Dash for a while.

____________________________________________________________

Gilda was at Rainbow Dash's side waiting for her own parents to come get her when she noticed a rainbow haired dude pulling up in a motorcycle. "Is that your dad?"

Rainbow Dash chuckled. "What gave it away?"

Gilda blushed. "Sorry... "

Rainbow Dash placed an arm over her. "It's all cool, G."

Gilda smiled. "Yeah, so hey will I see you again?"

"Sure, if you ever stop by my hometown, it would be awesome."

"Yeah, I guess that could be cool."

"Alright well I gotta go, my dad hates waiting for anybody. Especially a fast girl like me."

"Goodbye m... Rainbow Dash."

"Peace, G."

With that last phrase Gilda saw Rainbow Dash get on the motorcycle and watched her leave. She broke down and cried after having to watch the one she secretly loved go away. "Why couldn't I tell her? I had her the entire summer and I couldn't work the courage up... "

____________________________________________________________

The bus arrived at the stop and Gilda got on. She sat next to an elderly woman that sparked another memory of her past. This memory was supposed to be the greatest memory and instead it was the worst of all.

____________________________________________________________

Gilda had finally been free of her parents grasp, and was allowed to visit Rainbow Dash at the town specified. She rushed towards Rainbow Dash's house and even got to stay the night. The next morning however... Pinkie Pie showed up.

Gilda had been woken up by a loud noise that could only come from someone who had the hyperactivity of a child with ADHD and a sugar rush. She walked to the door and opened it trying to figure out what kind of person would make such loud noise.

Pinkie Pie looked at the not Rainbow Dash that confronted her. "Who are you?"

Rainbow Dash rushed to the door before Gilda could answer, and with her hair all messy said, "Hey Pinks, This is my friend Gilda, she's from out of town."

Gilda had a smirk on her face as if she won something.

Pinkie Pie giggled. "Well that's great we can have someone join us on our pranking spree today."

Rainbow Dash smiled bright. "Sounds great, hey, G, you game?"

Gilda didn't like this Pinkie Pie, and hated how much Rainbow Dash seemed pleased by her presence. "Nah, we have plans already remember? I know pranking sounds fun but we gotta stick to our awesome plans."

Pinkie Pie frowned. "That sucks, I was planning some major stuff, like this one prank with Rarity-"

Gilda was getting tired of Pinkie and interrupted her. "Look Pinks is it? I know you're really wanting to prank people but like I said, Rainbow Dash and I have plans."

Rainbow Dash didn't like the scenario being played out. "Whoa, G, chill out. She was just offering a suggestion for us all."

Gilda backed off quickly. "Didn't mean to sound harsh."

Pinkie Pie backed up slowly. "It's okay Rainbow Dash, I will just go." Pinkie Pie ran off with tears streaming down her face.

____________________________________________________________

Gilda growled lowly. She hated how that situation ruined the entire trip. What she hated more was finally meeting Fluttershy. That meeting had made her really upset.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash and Gilda were at the mall. They were looking for 'cool' things to buy and 'awesome' gear to wear. Rainbow Dash didn't like the words beautiful or pretty. She valued things as awesome or cool. Gilda followed that logic since she wasn't going to deny her one true love any wording of anything.

They were having a conversation about something until Rainbow Dash spotted something that took hold of her interest. "Oh hey Gilda... does that girl look like she is being harassed?"

Gilda looked and saw a boy talking to a scared girl. "Yeah I guess. What about it?"

Rainbow Dash gave Gilda her bags. "Hold this, I'm going to kick some ass."

Gilda wanted to stop Rainbow Dash but once that girl had her mind on something it was impossible to change it. "Wait..." she pointlessly cried out.

Rainbow Dash rushed towards the scene and Gilda watched as it got brutal.

"Hey buddy, I think you need to back off."

The guy turned to see a rainbow haired freak tell him what to do. "Why don't you mind your business. This pretty girl was just going to give me her number."

the girl turned towards her would be hero, and rushed to her side when she recognized her. "Rainbow!"

Rainbow Dash grabbed Fluttershy close and held her tight. "Don't worry Shy, I'm here."

Gilda watched from afar and the anger started to rise. "Who is that girl," she whispered to herself.

She wasn't able to hear much of the argument but could see the actions and what they indicated.

The guy wasn't too fond of being interrupted from having digits given to him. He was not a fan of being blocked by anyone. "Hey now, this isn't right. I thought you were going to give me your number, Fluttershy."

Fluttershy feeling safer in Rainbow Dash's grip was able to speak her mind. "I would never give you my number. I don't even know you. My mom was right I shouldn't have came here alone."

Rainbow Dash chuckled. "Dude, you're pathetic. Hitting on girls you have no chance with and then trying to bully them into going out with you. Lowest of the low."

The guy made an approach and was ready to beat on the insolent twit, who was insulting him. Having no idea that Rainbow Dash knew karate and was a black belt at a young age. The fight was going to be one sided.

Gilda had enough of the scene and was already on her way. She wanted to punch something and that guy was giving her ample reason to let loose her rage. "Incoming!" she yelled as she rushed in and decked the guy hard in the face.

____________________________________________________________

"A lot of good that did. I just got myself kicked out of a mall," Gilda said to herself as the bus finally made it's stop.

She was ready to get closer to her target. She was waiting across the school grounds for students to arrive. She was going to locate through the sea of students her target and make her suffer. "Just going to wait till you show up, and when you do, Fluttershy. It's going to be lights out."

____________________________________________________________

Gilda was arguing with Rainbow Dash at the bakery. "Look I'm not being a jerk to your friends... they are just so sensitive. What happened to you anyways? You used to be so cool. Now you’re so lame."

Rainbow Dash chuckled. "Lame? I'm lame? Well if I'm so lame then why are you still here?"

Gilda clenched her fist. "I don't know... maybe because I thought my cool friend was here. It seems she turned into a softy. Anyways, when you decide to get cool, you know my number." She walked out the bakery and from the party that had been thrown in her honor. It was an attempt to get to know the locals but she had no need for wanting to know them. She had only wanted Rainbow Dash and couldn't get her.

She walked out into the distance, before vowing, "I will return one day, Rainbow Dash, and when I do you will be mine."

____________________________________________________________

Just as she vowed, she did return. Now, she was in a great position to make good on her word. All she had to do was wait for Fluttershy to appear in the sea of students and take her out. She had no intention to murder the girl, just make it clear that Rainbow Dash wasn't up for grabs.

Instead of Fluttershy showing up alone, she was hand in hand with a well groomed Rainbow Dash. The image of them two together made Gilda even more furious. "It's go time."

Well hope you guys enjoyed this build up chapter.

If there are any glaring mistakes please inform me.

Also as stated on my blog I will be busier now so updating will be a bit longer.

Just remember the events that play out in the memories are loosely based on how it happened in the show plus my own taste to it. Also it's humanized so wings and sh*t ain't happening.

Unexpected

Applejack was still recovering from the episode last night. She never expected that the situation would have ended the way it did...

____________________________________________________________

Applejack was on top of Rarity with their bodies pressed as the door had opened. The screams of Rarity's dad and the position they were in had alerted Applejack the immediate danger she was in. "It's not what it looks like I swear."

Rarity who was enjoying the intimacy and closeness was singing a different tune. "Dad! Get out!"

Magnum wasn't sure what to do. On one hand he probably misunderstood the situation and was overreacting. On the other hand, it could be a situation that he did walk in on and had to deal justice. Though with Rarity yelling at him to get out it only confused him further.

Applejack was impressed by Rarity's ability to command the situation. She saw the defeated father walk away with one verbal command from the girl laying intimately beneath her. "Hey... thanks, Rarity."

Rarity chuckled as she pulled Applejack's face close to hers. "I only did it for a hero's reward, Darling." She gently placed her lips to Applejack's and the rest was history.

____________________________________________________________

Applejack had never been that intimate with anyone before, especially not a girl. It was confusing and downright scary. Was she into girls? She couldn't help but wonder if it was the situation or the adrenaline but she enjoyed the kiss nonetheless. "Consarn it!"

Rarity on the other hand was playing the kiss in her mind over and over. "It's nothing to be that upset about, darling."

Applejack sighed. "I jus' don't know what to do, Rarity."

Rarity chuckled. "It's not that hard, Applejack. You either enjoyed the kiss and it's possible for us to start something or you hated it and that's that."

Applejack groaned and mumbled to herself. She wasn't feeling too great about her possibility of being a lesbian. She never had any problems with gays or lesbians but in her family it wasn't as accepted. At least, that is what she thought. "Look sugar cube, I'm goin' to be honest. I enjoyed the heck outta that kiss."

Rarity smiled wide as the pair continued making their way to school. "See, that wasn't so hard now was it?"

Applejack frowned. "Don't go tellin' anyone this but,... I'm scared Rarity. I've never had any feelin's for a girl before."

Rarity got close to Appelack, she gently laid her head on Applejack's shoulder. "It's alright because together we can face the world just like Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. If they can get together in the face of somewhat adversity then we can too."

Applejack chuckled. "Yeah, I guess you're right, Rarity. If they can do this then so can we."

Rarity smiled and held Applejack's hand gently. "Speaking of Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy there they are now."

____________________________________________________________

Gilda felt it was go time. She rushed in to attack Fluttershy just as the other girls approached them giving her the distraction she needed. She used her powerful legs to rush in and just before she could attack Fluttershy, three unexpected things happened.

The first thing to happen was Rainbow Dash quickly covered Fluttershy with her own self as a shield. With momentum not being able to stop at the speed she was running it was impending that she would accidentally hurt the object of her desires.

The second thing to happen was something blind sided her and knocked her to the ground and landed on her with anger. Now if almost attacking your one true love, because she was protecting your enemy, wasn't bad enough, this surely was.

The third thing to happen was she saw just who had the courage to attack someone like her. She noticed the hair coloration and the skin pigment and quickly identified the attacker as Sunset Shimmer. She didn't know why Sunset decided to do what she did. She just knew she wanted Sunset dead.

____________________________________________________________

Sunset had been waiting all morning for this possible moment. It was long overdue that someone whupped Gilda's ass for what she did to pinkie. "You bitch! How could you hurt Pinkie like that... you dare grab a girl's neck and threaten her?"

Everyone around them was shocked by the vile tone and the harsh words. Sunset may have been the head bitch in charge, before Twilight's arrival, but never had she been this verbally abusive or physically violent.

Gilda chuckled. "So Pinkie decided to blab about what happened at the party. Well then I guess I will have to also teach her a lesson." That statement earned a her a shiny black eye as Sunset unleashed her fury.

"You will stay away from my friend... and if you dare try and hurt Pinkie... I will-"

Gilda sucker punched Sunset and got her off. She was about to retaliate and kick her impetuous ass. Instead though she saw Rainbow Dash getting closer.

Rainbow Dash wasn't going to tolerate anymore of Gilda's crap. "What are you doing here? I thought you were never coming back. I don't know what you want, or who you're here to visit. I just know you better leave town again since obviously you're nothing but trouble."

Gilda felt knives pierce her heart but had a grin on her face. "Oh I can't go... you see I decided I need my education. I found this nice school that accepts expelled students, if they really want to have a second chance,... can you guess what school that is my old friend?"

Rainbow Dash went wide eyed at the revelation. "Why?"

Gilda smiled. "Because we have unfinished business. It seems I have other business here as well. I would settle all my scores now but class is going to start soon."

Rainbow Dash gave Gilda a look of death. "I don't care what you do, but all I know is if you hurt Fluttershy, I will be forced to protect her."

Gilda chuckled darkly. "You may know your fancy karate, but you know damn well threatening me isn't the smartest choice. I'm not like you. I won't fight fair and I will use everything I can to my advantage."

The sound of the ringing alerted all the students and they scattered to their classes.

____________________________________________________________

Fluttershy was startled by the entire encounter. She didn't know someone was going to be out to get her. She noticed how sad Pinkie looked with Gilda being in the same school. "Psst Pinkie..."

Pinkie Pie was not a happy pie. "Yeah?"

Fluttershy looked to see if the teacher was paying attention. "Are you ok?"

Pinkie shook her head to the side sadly.

Fluttershy ended up frowning as well.

The teacher saw the door open and noticed Gilda entering. "Alright students, put your stuff away and let's get ready to meet our newest student."

Pinkie and Fluttershy were scared. They both knew Gilda was out for them and without Rainbow Dash or Sunset around it was possibly going to be a rough day.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash hated having a different schedule than her girlfriend. It wasn't bad before but with Gilda on the prowl it isn't the best time to be separated. She looked over seeing Sunset absolutely seething in complete anger. It was odd seeing Sunset being righteous for a change.

Sunset was pounding her fist against her open hand. "How can they let trash like that into our school?" She asked a bit too loudly.

The teacher got really upset. "Hey... the janitor does his best keeping this place clean. If you think you can do better than why not help instead of complain?"

Sunset growled. "I don't need this crap, I’m going home." she started walking out the class. Just as she was heading out the door she yelled out. "And I'm taking Pinkie with me!"

Sunset then slammed the door shut leaving a classroom of confused students and a very curious Rainbow Dash.

____________________________________________________________

Rarity and Applejack had decided to skip school together. They wanted to avoid the recent drama since they had stuff to figure out. They snuck into Applejack's room since no one goes in there after breakfast. There alone they sat on Applejack's bed a comfortable distance from each other.

Rarity began making the first move by leaning in. "Applejack... come closer I won't bite... hard."

Applejack blushed fiercely. "Rarity, let's take this slow, I'm still shaky about all this."

Rarity giggled as their lips almost touched. "Shhh, let me lead and you can follow."

Applejack closed her eyes and waited for the soft meeting of the two lips. She didn't have to wait long as Rarity gently planted a small kiss. She was going to open her eyes in disappointment, but felt another kiss on her lips. She then felt another, then another, before the kissing became longer and more intense.

Applejack kissed back and soon felt the joyful passion surge through her. She finally realized that the kissing was pleasurable and something that shouldn't be scary or intimidating. She never kissed another person besides family. It was on the cheek too.

Rarity was glad she had bought her romance novels. She had the more tame version being younger but still they were her guide in the world of love and romance. She was easily seducing Applejack with the handy notes she had written during her reading sessions with Fluttershy. Then the thought hit her and she broke the kiss. "Oh my goodness... I think Fluttershy knocked boots with Rainbow Dash."

Applejack coughed at the thought and the sheer randomness. "What?!"

Rarity blushed. "I mean... it's quite possible that Fluttershy... may have seduced Rainbow Dash last night."

Applejack raised an eyebrow curiously. "How did we get from kissing to Fluttershy's sex life?"

Rarity chuckled nervously. "Sorry just...enjoying our kiss and my mind drifted from lack of focus."

Applejack grinned. "So I'm that good huh?"

Rarity gently nodded before leaning in for another kiss. "Really good..." she dreamily stated before they resumed their passionate kissing experience.

____________________________________________________________

Gilda was sitting close to where Fluttershy was and could smell the fear coursing through her victim's body. "Don't you worry your pretty little head, Fluttershy. I will be taking you out of the picture and have my D all to myself."

The person sitting next to her was creeped out by Gilda's obsessive ramblings. That student decided he wasn't going to associate with the creepy girl.

The class was getting ready to read a chapter of a book when the sudden opening of the door got their attention. "Pinkie Pie we are out of here!" Sunset exclaimed.

Pinkie Pie smiled a bit. "Coming!" she grabbed her stuff and ran off with Sunset.

Fluttershy watched Pinkie leave and smiled. It was a good feeling knowing Pinkie would be happy away from Gilda. It was also concerning that she was now alone with the one who wanted to hurt her badly. She looked over to Gilda who was displaying the upset feeling she had with Pinkie and Sunset running off together happily.

Gilda wasn't one for seeing other couples happy when she couldn't be with the girl she desired most. That rainbow haired muscular girl that drove her wild. "Hey teach... I have to go bathroom but I don't know where it is..." Gilda called out pseudo embarrassed.

The teacher was sick of disruptions but couldn't deny the student's right to use the bathroom. "Well I can assign someone to show you where it is."

Gilda started squirming, her performance was convincing. "Alright, please hurry!"

The teacher started looking around for a girl who was reliable and wouldn't dwindle time on lollygagging. "Alright, Fluttershy, you go with Gilda and return as soon as possible."

Fluttershy nervously yelled out. "No!"

The teacher wore a stern expression when he decided he had enough. "I said, Fluttershy, that means you. I don't know what's going on but I can't run a class with all these distractions. Now show her where the bathroom is or face detention."

Fluttershy began shaking nervously. "F... fine... let's go Gilda."

Gilda never released the grin she had even when they both had exited the class and headed towards the bathroom. She was going to use this opportunity to show Fluttershy how her relationship with Rainbow Dash could be hazardous to her health.

So this is where our chapter ends. Yet another Cliffhanger but this time no RD, AJ, Rarity, Pinkie or even Sun Shine to save the day.

So will Fluttershy be given a lesson in not dating girls that are being obsessed over or will she find some way to save herself?

Amusem*nt Parks

Sunset had successfully managed to get away from a stressful situation before she escalated her actions further. She also managed to bring with her the most hyperactive student in all of Canterlot High. "So Pinkie, are you sure you can be calm when I tell you where we are going?"

Pinkie Pie was brimming with joy at the recent events. The excitement she felt was overflowing her system and causing her to spaz out. "Yes!"

Sunset had to lean to the side in order to avoid her eardrums from being destroyed. "Alright... so I have decided that school is lame, and instead of going to that crap shoot, we should go to an amusem*nt park."

Pinkie's eyes widened and she bounced around in excitement, ignoring the laws of gravity while doing so. "Yippee!"

Sunset couldn't help but smile at the antics of her.... Just what is Pinkie Pie to me? I mean I like her well enough but... am I even that way? She ignored the thought and slid her hand along Pinkie's own and grabbed it gently. "Save some excitement for the rides and please don't do anything that will get us kicked out."

____________________________________________________________

Fluttershy was walking along the hallway at snail's pace. She was leading her enemy to their potential battleground. "Gi...Gilda?" she asked softly.

Gilda looked at her with fierceness. "What is it Fluttershy?" Her voice was dripping with hate.

Fluttershy flinched nervously. "Are... are you going to hit me?"

Gilda chuckled. "Fluttershy if I wanted to hit you, I would have done it so."

Fluttershy sighed in relief. "Oh I was worried you were going to beat me up."

Gilda laughed grimly. "I never said I wasn't going to beat you to the ground... I just said I wasn't going to hit you."

Fluttershy gulped and walked slower. She was hoping some form of rescue would occur. She didn't want to get hurt over being with someone she truly loved. "Why?"

Gilda stopped and lifted her fist in annoyance. "Because you took what belongs to me... now shut up and don't make a scene... let's just go to the bathroom and I can give ya the beating you deserve. If you make a scene I might have to take out my anger on something small and defenseless. Maybe a bunny or two might do it."

Fluttershy gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. "N.. no!"

Gilda chuckled. "Then I suggest we start picking up the pace. I don't know how much longer the urge to punch a baby bunny might be held back. I like hurting cute things... and you are kind of cute Fluttershy."

Fluttershy began sobbing as she picked the pace up and lead Gilda to the bathroom.

Rarity was cuddling with Applejack after their steamy make out session. "So Apples... can I call you apples?" She was using a flirty tone and had her hand casually rubbing Applejack's cheek.

Applejack blushed and stammered. "Ye-yes you can, Rares, but not in public."

Rarity giggled. "You should see the look on your face, Applejack, it's priceless."

Applejack rolled over and hid her face. "Jus' get out!"

Rarity whined. "Why?!"

Applejack didn't respond and kept her face averted.

Rarity hid her grin as she silently scooted closer to Applejack and then embraced her gently from the rear. "Oh come on, Apples, you know I was just playing around... don't be mad."

Applejack stayed silent for a bit until she felt a gentle kiss on her cheek. "I'm sorry, Sugarcube, I'm jus' new to all this and the teasin' ain't helping none."

Rarity held Applejack tighter. "I'm sorry, darling, please don't be mad. I was just having some fun."

Applejack softened and relaxed a bit. "Rarity, Let's get outta here and go do somethin' fun."

Rarity smiled softly. "Like what, darling?"

Applejack knew one place her family wouldn't be at. "How about we go to that amusem*nt park that's on the other side of town?"

Rarity giggled. "That would be marvelous, darling, let's get ready and go!"

Sunset was halfway to the amusem*nt park with Pinkie Pie humming along next to her. "So Pinkie Pie, do you like me?" She asked inconspicuously.

Pinkie Pie obliviously replied. "Yes! I like you a lot Sunset, you were so nice to me and are being so nice to me now!"

Sunset chuckled nervously. "Pinkie Pie... I mean do you... never mind it's not important."

Pinkie Pie looked at her confused. "Do you mean ... like like?"

Sunset looked away and nodded. "Exactly like that Pinkie."

Pinkie Pie put her free hand to her chin as if in deep thought. "Well... I honestly don't know ... but I know one way we can find out."

Sunset looked over half excited. "How exactly is that, Pinkie?"

Pinkie Pie blushed fiercely. "With... a kiss..."

Sunset looked around and, with no one watching them, relaxed a little. "Alright then... let's kiss."

Fluttershy was dreading the destination of her short journey she was on. "So... there it is the bathroom... I guess I should be going now-"

"Get inside, now," Gilda commanded grimly.

Fluttershy knew she had no choice and did as told. She went inside and sealed her fate by doing so.

Gilda closed the door behind them after making sure no one saw them enter. "Now we are going to play a little game called, truth or punch in the face."

Fluttershy looked away. "I don't want to play-"

"Shut up!" Gilda roared in anger. "I don't want to hear your opinions on what we are going to do... we will do it and you might keep your pretty face if I get the answers I want."

Fluttershy sniffled a bit as tears began falling.

Gilda chuckled. "What if you are as innocent as people lead others to believe, than your answers won't piss me off."

Fluttershy looked at her sadly. "Okay."

Gilda smiled. "There's a good girl... now question one. How many dates have you gone on?"

Fluttershy tearfully answered. "One..."

Gilda chuckled. "So I am not too late to fix this... now question two... have you two kissed yet?"

Fluttershy said nothing but nodded slowly.

Gilda growled a bit and began tensing up in anger. "Alright... that's fine... now for the most important question."

Fluttershy could feel the anxiety build up. "Don't ask it... you don't want to hear the answer..."

Gilda got riled up. "What do you mean? You don't even know what I am going to ask!"

"Yes I do... you're going to ask if me and Rainbow Dash had sex..."

"Yes... that is what I am going to ask about... and so ... why won't I like the answer, Fluttershy?!"

"Because ... we did... last night."

"You did what?!"

"We aren't kids ... we're practically adults.... we have known-"

"I didn't ask for rationalization I asked for you to repeat what you just said."

"I don't want to..."

"You will say it... because I want to record you saying it... and then I can send this to everyone in the school."

Gilda held her phone out with unsteady hands. She shook with anger and betrayal, it should have been her with Dash not Shy. "Say it so the whole school can know what a dirty tramp you are."

Fluttershy shook her head in defiance and that made Gilda even more angry. "I won't do it... you're just going to beat me up anyways so I have nothing to gain."

"Oh you will say it... to think if I only altered the letter instead of ripping it up this could have all been avoided."

“The letter? What letter?”
“Oh you know that one letter you sent in camp that was supposed to tell Rainbow Dash that you missed her and thought of her.”

“You… read that?”

"Yeah... I saw you're stupid letter and I ripped it up. I should have just changed it... made it say something hurtful then she would have been all mine."

"You're sick!"

"I know ... but you're not the medicine... Dash is... now say it to the phone... tell everyone what you and my Dash did last night."

"We watched a movie and had a nice fun night."

"No! Say it or I swear I will kill you!"

The tone in which Gilda said it had no humanity in it. The voice that left her mouth was of a monster. Fluttershy could tell she was in serious danger and hoped that something would avert the imminent crisis from taking place.

As if by some miracle Rainbow Dash had found need to rush off to the restroom. "Damn it, Shy... your healthy drinks go straight through me," she cursed out lowly. "Hey, teach, I have to go, nature's calling."

The teacher just waved her off and continued teaching the students who actually wanted to learn something.

Rainbow Dash rushed off to the bathroom with her amazing speed. She had no idea what was taking place in there and just wanted to take care of some business. When nature calls there is no hold feature on the phone.

Pinkie Pie and Sunset's lips were inches from touching. They were both hesitant and scared to make the final move. Pinkie Pie's worry was that she would, potentially, lose a friend if the sparks didn't light up. Sunset was nervous about kissing a girl. She knew she liked men since she dated Flash Sentry.

Suddenly their lips finally met as Pinkie Pie took the initiative and went with her gut. Sure that usually lead her to yummy snacks but this time her gut said "kiss the girl." With their lips meeting there was no going back. They held their lips together as thoughts coursed through their minds.

Pinkie Pie was thinking of how nice it felt to possibly have someone in her life that could make her feel the way she felt. It was a nice and peaceful feeling of being cared for and protected. She wanted it badly, and knew that Sunset was willing to give it. It was what sparked the idea to lunge in and claim those lips that were teasing her so.

Sunset was surprised that Pinkie took the leap. It had made her mind do a whirl as the sensations rolled in one after the other. Fear, sorrow, joy, desire... it was all going through her brain as she continued the kiss afraid of losing connection even for a second.

Then the kiss finally broke as the both girls backed off a bit and assessed the situation. No words were said but instead they took each other's hand and walked off to the amusem*nt park where they would have their first date.

Rarity and Applejack managed to sneak out of sweet apple acres without being detected. It was no easy feat considering they had to sneak through a potential minefield of noises. The creaky stairs, the doors, the potential feet being planted on the ground a bit harder than necessary. It was nerve racking.

Rarity was just glad Applejack was less nervous about them being together and was only nervous about her being caught skipping school. It wasn't a total transition, from being closeted to out and about, but it was as good as it would get for now. Rarity was just glad that they managed to make small steps in the right direction.

Sorry for the long wait again been busy doing stuff and also enjoying my game. I know this story is getting a bit sappy but don't worry some action scenes are coming your way XD

No ... not that kind of action!

Confrontation

Fluttershy was backed into a corner with a threatening presence looming over her. She wasn't sure if she could fight back, even with the self defense training her girlfriend tried giving her years ago. It wasn't in her capacity to do harm to others even if they are willing to harm her.

Gilda wasn't in the mood for any further delaying and finally was ready to unleash a brutal attack on her victim. She didn't like having to resort to picking off helpless foes but in this case she was willing to make the exception. She co*cked her fist back and heard some rumbling at the door before she could swing.

Rainbow Dash entered the bathroom and looked at Gilda with a fist co*cked back and Fluttershy as the intended target. "Gilda!" She yelled before springing into action.

Gilda turned around and held her hands up in defense expecting the ass whupping she deserved. She closed her eyes and waited for the painful stings of furious punches to inflame her body. When seconds turned into a minute, and no blows were given, she opened her eyes to see no one in front of her.

When she turned back to Fluttershy she saw Rainbow Dash checking her over and whispering to her delicately. It was the straw that broke the camel's back, in Gilda's mind.

"How dare you ignore me?"

Rainbow Dash kept whispering to Fluttershy and making sure she wasn't injured or disturbed too much mentally by whatever had occurred.

"Stop ignoring me... I am here... I almost beat your worthless girlfriend up... do something!"

Rainbow Dash held Fluttershy close and kissed her forehead while feeling relieved she was able to get there in time.

Gilda began crying in fury. "Stop ignoring me!"

Rainbow Dash escorted Fluttershy out the bathroom and told her to run off to class. Once Fluttershy wasn't in earshot she turned around and began paying attention to the psycho.

"What do you want? Because it seems obvious that you were about to beat up the love of my life."

"I want you... she doesn't deserve you!"

"And you do?"

"Yes I do... I love you Rainbow Dash more than she ever could."

"So that's why, instead of being happy for me, you attack my girlfriend and make her feel bad?"

"Because I love you and only I can treat you like you deserve to be treated!"

Rainbow Dash got close to Gilda with a menacing look in her eye. "No! You just think you love me. If you truly cared about me you would have accepted that I am with someone else. You would have been supportive and if things went bad you would then try to make a move."

Gilda chuckled. "Support you and her? Don't make me laugh. She is a whiny pathetic Slu-"

A solid punch to the jaw, courtesy of Rainbow Dash, had silenced her tirade before she could finish her insult.

"Don't you dare talk about Fluttershy that way... and don't you ever and I mean ever... threaten her again, if you do I won't hold back."

Gilda rubbed her jaw and felt even more upset. "Why? Why her? You could have anyone in the world but you chose her?"

Rainbow Dash felt the call of mother nature begin surpassing her mental wall to hold it. "I don't have time to explain it to you, I really have to go and deal with the call... so to summarize it, I chose her because she isn't like me... she is my other half."

Gilda roared furiously and then ran out of the bathroom with no path or destination intended.

Applejack was hesitantly holding hands with Rarity in public. She didn't feel quite comfortable yet with the whole relationship, but their earlier activities had made it more desirable. "So what ride you itchin’ to go on when we get there?"

Rarity was completely in bliss at the current situation. "Any ride where we can sit together is perfect enough for me, darling."
She didn't mind skipping one day of school and potentially being caught by someone she knew. She had the one thing that mattered right next to her.

As they walked towards the direction of the amusem*nt park they were headed to, they got looks from townsfolk and tourists alike. Applejack's nervousness increased while being given looks from those she recognized as buyers. Without people to buy her fruits her farm's business could take a hit. Some people weren't open minded about alternative lifestyles.

Rarity looked over sensing the hesitation in her lover's mind. "Is something wrong, Applejack?"

Applejack hid her despair for her girlfriend's sake. "Not at all, sugarcube, I'm jus’ new to all this."

Rarity tilted her head and squeezed Applejack's hand gently. "Don't worry, we don't have to make out in public or anything."

Applejack tilted her head meeting Rarity's and smiled. "Well I ain't sayin’ we can't do any of that. I jus' rather be alone when we makin' out, so we don't get bothered."

Rarity smiled and let the recent elevation of tension dissolve naturally, as they hid from the world by being lost in each other's affection.

Pinkie Pie was having the time of her life being treated to fun and amusem*nt while being given the affection she craved. "This feel's like a dream... Sunset, is this all a big dream and one day I will wake up from it?"

Sunset chuckled and rubbed Pinkie's back gently. "If it is then we are both dreaming it... I hope this isn't a dream."

Pinkie blushed and held her girlfriend close. "Let's pinkie promise to never break up okay?"

Sunset looked over to Pinkie who had a serious look on her face. "You mean... this is a permanent relationship?"

Pinkie Pie nodded and smiled.

Sunset removed her hand away from Pinkie's back and touched her chin. "I don't know if I can promise you that... I don't even know if I can even be a decent girlfriend... I mean the last relationship I had I was dumped."

Pinkie frowned. "You were a big meanie back then... you're different now."

"Am I really different? I almost beat the crap out of Gilda and sorta kidnapped you just now."

"Well..."

"Don't forget originally I planned on using you to get blackmail material so I can regain my former glory at the school."

"That was..."

"Also I am broke and can't treat you to fancy things. This is the last of my money and I am wasting it on one last hurrah before reality comes crashing down."

"But I..."

"Still you want to be with me? That is what amazes me... and if you can learn to accept the bad that I am, I will try to be the good you think I am. So yes Pinkie Pie... I pinkie promise you that we won't break up... at least on my end."

Pinkie tackled her to the ground and held her close, mindlessly displaying tons of affection in a public setting. The scene was heartwarming to some and lewd and disrespectful to others. Still, in the midst of the judging and confusion, Pinkie Pie was never happier then she was at that moment.

Fluttershy regretted staying behind and hearing what happened in the bathroom. She pretended to walk off to class and in doing so heard the argument between her lover and her enemy. She didn't expect Rainbow Dash to attack Gilda nor was she expecting Gilda to charge out of the bathroom and run past her.

Mixed emotions surged through her body as she felt both proud and scared. She was glad that Rainbow Dash was willing to defend her at all costs, however, she didn't enjoy the fact that Rainbow Dash could get violent. While she waited for Rainbow Dash to return from the bathroom, her eyes locked on to Gilda's retreating form.

"I feel bad for her... she just wanted to be loved... do I really deserve Rainbow Dash?"

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash had finished her business and washed her hands while looking into the mirror. She saw someone else looking back.

"So you brought me out again it seems."

"Just shut up, I am not going back to being who I was... I just had to let Gilda know I wasn't playing around."

"So hitting her was the only way?"

"No... "

"Admit it, hitting her felt good. You miss being the badass you once were. All those karate lessons and that black belt for what? To be soft with your girlfriend?"

"Shut up!"

The opening of the door silenced her thoughts as she saw Fluttershy looking worried and scared.

"Who... who are you arguing with?" Fluttershy asked confused.

Rainbow Dash stayed silent as she dried her hands off.

"Rainbow?"

"Look Shy... I didn't mean to hit Gilda, I just... I can't let you get harmed and she wasn't backing down."

"I know Dashie... I know."

"I won't go back to how I was... I won't lose myself."

"I know Dashie... come here and let me hold you."

Rainbow Dash shed a tear before entering her lover's embrace. "I'm scared ... what if I hadn't stopped after the first punch?"

Fluttershy held her tight and looked away. "Then you would have after the second... I know you... you're not a bad person... that was just a phase."

Rainbow Dash gripped Fluttershy's body tight. "I hope so... I can't lose my soccer career and most importantly... I can't lose you Fluttershy."

Fluttershy looked towards Rainbow Dash and was surprised with a passionate kiss. The kiss was returned with tenderness and resumed for a while.

Gilda ran out of the school and blindly ran into an alley way without meaning to. It was empty and she was able to vent while alone. She began ranting and raving in solidarity and didn't even notice her loudness attracted the attention of one individual who would give her hope of good life.

"Hello there, I can't help but notice you are down," said the smooth voiced man.

Gilda felt uncomfortable around the sketchy person and had her guard up. "What do you want?"

"I just want what you want, and that is to make your life less miserable."

"What?"

"Ah, let me introduce myself. My name is Discord and I am a wish granter of sorts."

"Like a genie?"

"Yes, except real."

"Look whatever sick joke you think you're going to play on me isn't going to work."

"I assure you, this isn't a joke. I like to make deals... not really excited on giving away happiness for free."

"What makes you think that you can bring me happiness?"

"Because that is my gift... I spread chaos and madness to those who enjoy it. You want something you can't have, a Rainbow Dash if I am not mistaken."

"How do you know that?"

"Oh let's just say a little birdy told me... or more like you screamed her name loud enough."

"So what about it? It's not like you can just make her love me."

"No I can't force her to love you... but I can make whatever is stopping her from loving you go away."

"What? Like, kill someone?"

"No, it won't be necessary... but if she has some boyfriend I can have a lady who owes me favor seduce him."

"She's not into men... she has a girlfriend... a perfect one."

"So what is the name of this perfect girl?"

"Fluttershy..."

"The girl who takes care of animals? That Fluttershy?"

"Yeah, you know her?"

"No I don’t but if she is the target then consider the task complete."

"Alright, then you will get rid of Fluttershy for me?"

"Yes... for a price."

Dun Dun Dun!

Sorry for the delay and I appreciate the support. I will try to write more with less delays but I can't promise anything with my current situation.

If there are any major typoes or grammar issues please inform me of it so I can edit it.

Dark Dealer

Discord, the king of chaos and anarchy, was an insidious man. He dubbed himself that name after many of shenanigans that occurred thanks to his dark dealings. He loved making deals with people in order to 'help' them.

Discord was not imposing by his appearance nor was he an adonis by any standards. He had in cunning and wit, what he lacked in appearance and civility. He was a former student of Canterlot High and was expelled when both the principal and vice principal had discovered his dark dealings.

Spreading anarchy and chaos was his forte and making the world a bit more insane with each passing day gave him the utmost joy. He didn't do it because he felt the world needed to sink into darkness, it was just too appealing not to do it. In his mind, everyone was willing to pay a price to gain something they desire.

Whether it be love, lust, or money, everyone had a price. He found that out early on when he was just a freshman. It wasn't long before everybody wanting something for seemingly nothing would find a way to contact him inconspicuously and attempt a deal.

After being expelled from school he had to find himself a new source of individuals to manipulate and control. With the town having a decent prosperity rate and not many individuals feeling the need to be greedy, it was hard doing business. He realized that if he wanted to continue doing his 'job' he would need to find different clientele.

That was when he decided to make the alley ways his hunting ground in search for people who need things in life they can't obtain themselves. He helped homeless people succeed in gaining jobs and fed the weak and hungry. It wasn't out of the kindness of his heart as all his good deeds came with a price tag.

With what little clientele he had his days of causing trouble and gaining allies were seemingly coming to an end. He almost gave up hope until he had the pleasure of running into Gilda. A new project of sorts that would be timely and most likely net him more opportunities to spread his corruption and madness to a populace once more.

____________________________________________________________

Gilda wasn't sure what Discord meant by price. "What kind of price? I don't have much money."

Discord chuckled and rubbed his bearded chin. "Money is of little use to me, besides the need to eat I rarely rely on it."

Gilda had a confused look on her face but continued her line of questioning. "Then what do you want?"

Discord walked close and smiled darkly. "I just want your word that when I need your help with something you will come through."

Gilda was wary of his demeanor and his meaning. "I won't be a pawn of yours ... but if a butt needs kicking you can always count on me."

Discord grew amused. "Alright then we have a deal. I will create a wedge between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy allowing you to seduce Rainbow Dash, and in return I will call on you when I see fit."

Gilda smiled. "Alright, so what's the plan?"

Discord chuckled "Plan? It's simple. You just have to make nice and pretend you have turned over a new leaf while I work on becoming "friends" with Fluttershy. Once I make the wedge between the two, you can easily comfort Rainbow Dash."

Gilda closed her eyes and envisioned the scene playing in her head...

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash was looking down with a lone tear falling from her face. Another day without Fluttershy being around. Discord having successfully seduced her away and making it impossible for them to spend time together.

Gilda notices how sad her one true love is and begins to comfort her. "You don't need her Rainbow Dash, just know I would never leave your side."

Rainbow Dash sighs quietly. "I know... it's just I felt she was my one."

Gilda leans in and nearly presses her lips to Rainbow Dash's own. "I can be your one now."

Just before they kiss a cough is heard....

____________________________________________________________

"Ahem!" Discord loudly interjects before Gilda was lost in her own fantasy.

Gilda, red faced, growled. "What?!"

Discord chuckled. "You were drooling and weren't responding."

Gilda looked away and wiped her mouth. "Shut up!"

Discord stood silent.

Gilda turned around hesitantly. "I just really want her, and if you actually give me that opportunity then my life will be complete."

Discord grinned menacingly. "Well then let's begin, shall we?"

____________________________________________________________

It was lunch time when Gilda returned to school. She found Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy sitting together with a younger student whose name wasn't of importance. She approached them gently and noticed how guarded Rainbow Dash was. "Easy there... I am not here to fight anymore. I wanted to apologize for being a bitch and start over new."

Rainbow Dash was skeptical and didn't acknowledge her apology until she was nudged by Fluttershy gingerly. "Fine... I don't forgive you just yet though. If you really are turning over a new leaf and trying to get on my good side then prepare to do a lot of making up for all the crap you pulled."

Gilda forced a smile and managed to hide her contempt for the situation while responding. "Sure, anything to become friends again. I missed hanging out with you and stuff."

Fluttershy smiled a bit but kept her walls up. "Are you really trying to start over? I mean... Sunset said the same thing and is actually attempting being nice... I hope you really mean it to."

Gilda wanted to claw Fluttershy's stupid eyes out for her rightful suspicions. "Yes I really do. I am sorry about almost hurting you earlier... I guess I was just jealous of your relationship with Rainbow Dash."

Rainbow Dash saw a glimmer of hope in her old friend and decided to take her seriously about her new take on life. "Alright well since you're serious then you should apologize to Pinkie and if she can look the other way about this then maybe you can join the soccer team. I could use a powerful kicker like you on the team."

Gilda almost jumped on Rainbow Dash in joy but contained her initial happiness. "Sounds great... but what if I apologize and she doesn't believe me?"

Rainbow Dash sighed. "Well I don't know what to tell ya then. I need for all my friends to be alright with you, if it was only me you hurt then I wouldn't care but you hurt them too."

Gilda sighed and gave into the demands. "Alright then I shall go and apologize and hopefully be forgiven."

Discord had decided to swing by the animal shelter to begin signing up to volunteer. He wasn't sure how thorough the place was about checking backgrounds and hoped they weren't too thorough. "I do love animals and I am willing to stick by the poor 'unfortunate' ones until they gain a home."

The owner of the place had never seen Discord around nor was easy to allow volunteers since Fluttershy was very nervous and skittish around strangers. "Well what experience do you have with animals in general?" He asked warily as he eyed the psychotic mess.

"Personally I have never had the opportunity to obtain pets or play with neighborhood dogs. I do though posses the compassion and care necessary for tending to the beautiful creatures." Discord's tone wasn't matching his intent.

"Well I will let you know what we have available for time slots but if you truly care this much about animals then I can't see why you shouldn't be here."

"Great, just let me know when I am needed and don't worry about inconveniencing me. Anything for the poor animals."

"That's good to hear, we shall be in contact with you soon."

Discord left the building with a smug smile. He had managed to hopefully get an in to gain access to Fluttershy. Now all he had to do was play the waiting game.

Sunset and Pinkie were eating some food at the amusem*nt park and were silent through it all. Pinkie was enjoying some quiet time with her girlfriend. She was shocked how things were going but glad at the same time. It was almost going to well and it worried her.

"Sunset... is this real? I mean are you really into me?"

"Yeah, Pinkie I wouldn't be here if I wasn't this passionate about being with you. I don't do favors or enjoy my time with people I just like."

Pinkie smiled brightly. "Okay!"

Sunset reached out and held her hand gently. "No matter what happens from here on out, you and I will be together."

____________________________________________________________

Somewhere in the amusem*nt park stood Applejack with Rarity tightly holding her in front of the masses. Applejack was trying to avoid the accusatory glances from other people and smiling at the supportive faces peering their way. She was trying to get comfortable with who she was and her relationship with Rarity.

"So Rare's want somethin' to eat?"

"I would like a slice of Apple-"

"Rarity! Be serious please," Applejack said with reddened cheeks.

"Oh calm down, darling, I doubt anyone really cares."

"I know it's just... I kinda want to keep the flirtin' down to a minimum, for now at least."

"Alright you big baby, your lover will be a good girl... because I will be naughty later." Rarity winked at the blushing farm girl.

Applejack tried maintaining her cool and decided that if she was going to be in this relationship then she had to accept it for what it is. "I shall hold ya to that Sugar Cube, now let's get somethin' to eat that isn't me."

Rarity giggled, "See isn't it fun? You're really trying and that is what I appreciate the most. Alright let's find something to fill our stomachs but nothing too fattening."

Applejack smiled and poked Rarity's stomach softly. "I don't think there is anythin' to worry about, your body is perfect the way it is and even if you ended up becomin' a big ole gal I would still think your sexy."

Rarity just melted into Applejack at that point. "Careful you may make me want to skip lunch and head right into dessert if you keep flattering me like that." She spoke softly as she said it but loud enough for Applejack to understand every single word of it.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash was glad that things between her and Fluttershy were going great despite the little hiccup caused by Gilda. She doesn't want anything to get in the way of their happiness and will fight whatever fate throws their way to keep her. She had no idea what love could do to a person before and now she knows that it's taxing and rewarding to be in love.

When school ended she knew that Fluttershy would most likely be going to the shelter and since soccer practice was still happening she would have to part ways. She hated not having shy watch her practice but felt good that she would at least show up to the games. Still she would walk Fluttershy to the shelter, even if it made her late to practice.

Fluttershy worried about Rainbow Dash's tardiness counting against her and decided to speak up, "Rainbow... I know you feel better about making sure I get to the shelter safely but... what if your team gets angry about you being late?"

Rainbow Dash sighed and responded, "To be honest they don't mind, Shy, they know how important you are to me."

Fluttershy blushed and fidgeted her fingers together, "As long as you aren't getting in trouble then I don't mind. I just would be sad if I caused you trouble. You can become a great sports star and I don't want to be in the way of that."

Rainbow Dash held Fluttershy close and looked into her eyes. "You are not in the way of anything, in fact, you inspire me to get better and play harder. I want to be someone you are proud of babe."

Fluttershy leaned in and kissed Rainbow Dash softly before replying with, "I already am proud of you, and I am happy we are together. Never forget that, even if we ever get into a fight... I want you to know that I enjoy every moment that we are together."

Rainbow Dash beamed and her eyes almost watered. "Now you went and got me all teary eyed, luckily I don't mind being mushy in private with you. Now let's get you to that shelter. Those animals need their number one gal, and after that we can go over to my house and watch some movies."

Fluttershy chuckled, "Alright and you hurry back on to your field, those girls need their star player. I agree we should go to your place after and watch some movies... just nothing too scary please I don't like scary movies."

Rainbow Dash rubbed Fluttershy's head gently, "Alright no scary movies, but if we ever do watch a scary move, just know I would never let anything in those movies lay one stinking claw, talon, hand, hook or any other thing on you."

Fluttershy leaned her head on Rainbow Dash as they walked closer to the shelter. "I know, and that's one of the greatest things about being with you. I don't have to worry about anything when around you... I feel safe around you."

Rainbow Dash felt her ego grow as it was being fed, "That's because I would do anything to keep you safe, and I mean anything Shy."

When they arrived at the shelter they gave each other a lengthy goodbye kiss. Rainbow Dash felt a surge of energy from the kiss and knew that she could use that rush into getting back to the soccer field quickly. Fluttershy felt a surge from the kiss as well and was ready to take care of the animals. For that moment the two lovers were happy, and yet were unaware of the plot that would threaten their entire relationship that was just around the corner.

Sorry for the wait and hope you haven't given up with the story. I will be updating this weekly since I am finally free of the issues that held me back from writing. I hope you enjoyed and know there is more to come.

Fluttershy's new friend

Fluttershy was sad to part ways with her beloved, and at the same time enjoyed being around the animals. She was conflicted about spending time at the shelter while her girlfriend was surrounded by all those girls. "I trust her... I really do Mr. Kitty, I just don't know what I would do if someone more interesting came along and won her over."

The cat she was holding was not familiar with what Fluttershy was talking about since human language was new to him. The rescued kitten was found by someone and since they couldn't take care of the critter it was brought to the shelter. It was just happy to be fed and receive attention so it meowed.

Fluttershy couldn't tell if the cat was being supportive or just being a helpless baby kitten. "I guess my problems are not really your concern after all... I am just being silly. I know that Rainbow Dash really cares about me... I just hope she knows how much I truly cherish her as well."

A new person had walked into the area that Fluttershy was in startling her in the process. "Sorry... didn't mean to frighten you, I am just reporting in for work is all."

Fluttershy looked at the young man with the odd clothing and facial hair unfitting a youth. "Oh it's ok, I just didn't realize you would be here already. I am Fluttershy, the manager said you would be starting today. It's Discord right?"

Discord smiled and kept his distance, "Yes, that's right and even though that is my name I assure you I won't be causing trouble." He laughed softly and watched Fluttershy carefully for a reaction.

She chuckled as she got the joke. "Well I sure hope not, these animals don't need anymore trouble."

Discord decided to begin his plan with the opportunity given. "Animals are my passion and I would never dream of causing them any harm or problems. I love animals and wish that each of them had great homes."

Fluttershy was amazed that there was another person with her passion and attitude over animals. "You... you mean it?"

Discord nodded. "Ever since I was young I always wanted to own a sanctuary for them. Unfortunately I don't have that kind of money so I forgot all about that dream... "

Fluttershy's interest was piqued by this man. "So you want to build one too? I always dreamed of owning my own sanctuary for all the animals. This is so cool that someone wants that as well."

Discord felt like he was shooting fish in a barrel, it was almost too easy. He decided to use the final bait to ensnare the beautiful girl. "To be honest, it's because around other people I am usually shy... I tend to think of humans as scary and can't really get a long with them. My best friends growing up were my pets. I bet that sounds weird doesn't it?"

Fluttershy's heart ached for the poor man. "No... it isn't weird at all... I too am usually around animals. I only had one friend growing up besides the animals and now she is the only reason I can be around other humans. If only you had someone like that growing up you wouldn't have been so lonely."

Discord was deterred by the mentioning of a friend. "So you had a friend besides the animals? Is she still a friend or did she leave you behind to hang out with other people?"

Fluttershy felt uneasy explaining her situation to a complete stranger, regardless of their connection she wasn't sure how to inform him of what came to be. "Actually... we did have a fight once due to some jealous girl wanting to steal my friend away. Though we reconnected and now..." Fluttershy's face began growing red with a blush, "We are girlfriends."

Discord was assessing how much Rainbow Dash meant to her, yet he couldn't force a conversation. He began helping one of the animals get cleaned while he tried to get more info. "So this girlfriend of yours, does she love animals too?"

Fluttershy was beginning to get uneasy with the questions since they were more personal than she liked. "Well she isn't that into animals but she still supports my cause. She came by once to help me when no one else would... she is amazingly good at sports and that's why she isn't here now."

Discord was getting bored with the results. It seemed Rainbow Dash was put on a pedestal in Fluttershy's mind. "Well she sounds great, and sorry for the questions it's just... I never had a friend before... and I was hoping to get to know you. I hope we can be friends."

Fluttershy liked the idea of having a friend that was as into animals as her. She was used to being friends with other types of people and would be looking forward to having someone she could talk about animals to. "Sure I would like that. I just want you to know that even though we are going to be friends I can't be reached at all times. So please be patient for my replies."

Discord was grinning deviously and the face he made spooked the dog he was bathing and it attacked him in defense. The dog came at him suddenly and his first instinct was to hit the animal but was luckily able to keep his cool because the dog was being scolded.

"Bad doggy! You should know better than to attack Discord... he was only cleaning you," Fluttershy stated in disappointment. She never had any problems with the animals, and never seen them attack a helper. "Now be a good dog and sit still while I finish cleaning you." She looked at Discord to see if he was alright.

Discord was in awe of the talent Fluttershy had, and thought to himself of how it could be useful. He didn't expect it to happen but he felt Fluttershy's soft hand touch his face and check for any marks. "It's alright... I guess the dog got spooked because of my appearance..."

Fluttershy was grateful there wasn't any visible injuries and felt a bit relieved. "Yeah... I guess you must resemble someone who hurt him before. Sorry, and please don't be mad at him." She smiled softly before leaving his side and returning her attention to the dog.

Discord was sad that Fluttershy quickly left his side and wanted more of her attention. He wasn't sure if it was because of his plan or if he suddenly became enamored with the girl but he wanted Fluttershy all to himself. "Thanks... and don't worry I won't be too upset, I should have paid more attention to the signs he was giving me. I guess I was so happy I have a friend that I lost focus."

Fluttershy chuckled, "I sometimes get like that too... when I am thinking of Rainbow Dash... it's great having someone to care for and that cares for you. Even my other friends are great to think about... though I mostly try to push those thoughts out of my head while taking care of the animals. I would hate to accidentally hurt one of them because I wasn't giving them my full attention."

Discord was starting to despise Rainbow Dash even without having met her. "So then I guess for now I should focus on taking care of them and maybe me and you can talk later when you're free?"

Fluttershy looked back sadly. "Oh... well after this I will be with Rainbow Dash for the night, so I won't be available to talk to."

Discord smiled at her look of sorrow, "Don't be too sad about it, you shouldn't feel bad about spending time with your girlfriend."

Fluttershy gave a confused look. "Oh, I am not sad about that, in fact I am excited about it... I just know that you're going to be alone again and that is what makes me sad. I know we just became friends and when I became friends with Rainbow Dash I spent the night talking to her. It was such a great moment having a first friend... and unfortunately I can't give you that moment so I just got sad for you."

Discord was getting angry. How couldn't understand why Fluttershy was being so kind and yet able to care without being attracted to someone. "Don't worry about that, just have fun, I mean there are other days and we could just text if anything."

Fluttershy smiled and nodded before returning to her duties and focusing on the animals. She wasn't sure how she was going to bring her new friend into the circle of friends, but she felt that Discord could use some friends. She knew that her friends would most likely be at odds with him because of his appearance and age, and yet she would hope they could understand her plight. She never had a friend that was into animals and as long as he was respectful she didn't want to give up a new friend.

Rainbow Dash was finally done with practice and was ready to get her girl. She had an exciting night planned and was anxious to get it going. She rushed to the shelter to pick Fluttershy up but as she arrived she saw her hugging a strange man at the entrance. She wasn't sure what the deal was but knew that flipping out, no matter how right it felt, was not the answer.

She approached them both and when she was noticed she got an excited tackling hug from her girlfriend. "Whoa Shy, glad to see you too." She tried to let her jealousy hide for a second and enjoy the loving embrace.

Fluttershy was way too excited. "Oh Rainbow Dash I am so glad you're here. I missed you so much. Oh and I got some good news."

Rainbow Dash was still aware of the presence of that strange man and looked over at his face, she didn't like it for some reason and she was itching to punch it. "What is it babe? Did an animal get adopted today?"

Fluttershy calmed a bit and kissed Rainbow Dash gently on the lips before sadly replying, "No not really..." She looked back at Discord and became cheery again. "Actually the good news is that I met a friend who is just like me. His name is Discord and I want you two to meet."

Discord got his cue to make himself known and put his hand out. "I am Discord, and unlike my name implies, I don't wish to cause trouble." he waited for a hand shake but it didn't happen.

Fluttershy could see how upset Rainbow Dash was, "Oh... I should have told you before you saw me hugging him... I was so busy with the animals I didn't have time to text you. Rainbow Dash you know I don't like boys in that way and plus... I love you."

Rainbow Dash wasn't sure why she was angry still but couldn't shake the feeling that something was off with that man. She looked at her girlfriend who was starting to get in tears and kissed her face gently. "I know you aren't cheating on me shy, and I know you love me... I will just be honest with you so there is no confusion. I don't like him... something about him is pissing me off and also he saw me coming before you hugged him..."

Discord was flabbergasted with her attention to detail. He was already caught and the situation was looking bad. "I am sorry, for causing you this much trouble Fluttershy, I didn't know a hug between friends would make your girlfriend mad. Look I think it would be best if we weren't friends... I rather not cause you trouble." He walked away forlornly while internally grinning at how upset Rainbow Dash got. He used that information to carefully think of another plan as he kept walking away.

Fluttershy felt sad and ashamed about how things went. She couldn't believe she had made a new friend and that Rainbow Dash got so jealous over it. "That was uncalled for... he may have requested the hug but I was being friendly and gave him one... I am glad you care about me and truly do love me but you got so jealous that you nearly attacked a person."

Rainbow Dash didn't like where the conversation was headed, "Shy... two things you need to know; one of those things is that you are incredibly beautiful and, even though I know you wouldn't betray me, guys and possibly other girls will show interest in you. That is something I have to deal with and can handle. The other thing that you must know is that there are people who will deceive you because of how nice you are. I know you must think I was being jealous and in honesty I was kind of jealous for a moment but... that guy just rubbed me the wrong way."

Fluttershy put her face into her girlfriend's neck and sighed softly. She didn't want to argue but at the same time she didn't want to lose the friend she made either. "Rainbow... he works with me here... what am I supposed to do? Ignore him and be mean to him because you dislike him? I made a friend and was happy and now I feel like I can't even breathe without your say so."

Rainbow Dash knew this was going to happen, and she could have prevented it if she wasn't so afraid of losing her girlfriend. "Shy... " Rainbow Dash softly began petting her hair. "I know I am protective and I am sorry if I overdid it. With what happened with Gilda today still bugging me I just snapped... please understand, I don't mind you making friends regardless of their gender... I just am a bit out of it."

Fluttershy felt like an idiot. How could she have forgot that their relationship was already threatened recently. "I'm so sorry, I completely forgot about the Gilda thing... I was so wrapped up with the animals and getting to know Discord, and more importantly, our evening plans that I forgot about what happened. Please forgive me?"

Rainbow Dash sighed and held Fluttershy tight before kissing her lovingly. "I will always forgive you Fluttershy, now let's enjoy the rest of this day and our night together. We can deal with all this crap some other time."

Fluttershy beamed, "Deal!" as she enjoyed the tight embrace she was in.

After the emotional fiasco, that had caused some passerby's to stop and watch, the two girls went off to enjoy their night together.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter and as always if you find anything very glaring as a mistake let me know :)

A second chance

Gilda had returned to the alley at the time she and discord were to meet. She was hoping for good news from the anarchistic ally. "So Discord what do you have for me?"

Discord pulled out his cellphone and showed his contacts to Gilda to display the name "Fluttershy" as one of them. "This job is way too easy, and honestly I am getting bored."

Gilda didn't like his tone and gritted her teeth. "So I am guessing that you already caused Rainbow Dash and Fluttercry to break up eh?"

Discord put his phone away and sighed while approaching Gilda. "No, actually I haven't. You see Rainbow Dash is going to be doing it herself. All I have to do is sit back and watch the implosion from a safe distance."

Gilda was intrigued and urged Discord to continue, "Go on."

Discord grinned wickedly as he began boasting, "I befriended her by pretending I was some animal freak and when I was 'leaving' I asked for a goodbye hug just as Rainbow Dash appeared."

Gilda would have paid to see Rainbow's face at that exact moment. "You're so clever. How long before you think the crack you caused shatters the relationship?"

Discord looked at his watch as if it was synchronized to some event. "In about oh I don't know...Maybe tonight."

Gilda squealed in delight as she bounced in place. "This is great, all I have to do now is wait until she calls me and I can easily invite her over to comfort her. Tomorrow I will apologize to Stinkie Pie and everything will be okay."

Discord looked at his phone and noticed he had a text. "Oh here we go I just got a text from Fluttershy." He looked at who it was from and sure enough it was from Fluttershy.

Gilda laughed and rubbed her hands together. "Tell me what it says in detail."

Discord looked at the message and frowned. "It's not good news or at least not good news for you."

Gilda raised an eyebrow and tapped her foot impatiently, "What's going on Discord?"

Discord tried relaying the message in Fluttershy's voice, "Hey Discord, sorry about earlier. I hope you aren't hurt and don't worry Rainbow Dash will come around once you two get to know each other."

Gilda cringed at the impression and made a fist with her free hand. "I thought you said it was going to be over? What went wrong?"

Discord glared at Gilda, "I don't know! It was all going as planned; Rainbow Dash argued with Fluttershy as I left and that was supposed to be the end of that. This means I will have to up the ante but until then don't get pissy with me."

Gilda turned around and left in anger. She wasn't going to waste time listening to how some idiot failed in doing something so simple. She decided she would just have to work on her impression of a decent human being since she had to apologize to Pinkie Pie tomorrow.

____________________________________________________________

Pinkie Pie had returned to the bakery and brought Sunset Shimmer with her. They had a wonderful day at the amusem*nt park and Pinkie didn't want the day to end. "You know you could stay here instead of living alone."

Sunset chuckled and played with Pinkie's hair. "Then we can get married by the weekend right?" she joked.

Pinkie Pie wasn't smiling and looked down. "You're right it's silly, I-"

Sunset Shimmer kissed Pinkie's cheek softly and smiled at her. "Pinkie it's not silly and I know what you meant. I just don't think it would be appropriate even if it was just to make sure I had a roof over my head."

Pinkie Pie grinned, "What if I put a second bed in the room then you could sleep on that bed and it wouldn't be like we moved in together."

Sunset sighed and put a hand to her own head. "It's not that simple Pinkie. Plus what if things get too rushed by me staying here and one of us wants to bail because of it?"

Pinkie frowned and huffed. She felt like Sunset just didn't want to be around her, "Fine! forget I offered."

Sunset was standing her ground but realized a compromise could solve the issue. "I have an idea but don't get too excited. I will see where this relationship goes and if we can survive an entire month together from today then I will move in with you. I just don't want to rush anything and I can't afford to mess this up."

Pinkie Pie was going to give up but then she remembered something "You said you spent the last of your money on the amusem*nt park. How will you pay rent or groceries without money?"

Sunset face palmed at her own stupidity. "Yeah I guess that is what just happened. I wasn't thinking ahead...Well I could always get a part time job."

Pinkie Pie's face stretched with a grin. "You can work here with me! We can bake together."

Sunset didn't know anything about baking but if it would please Pinkie she thought it couldn't hurt learning. "Alright then I will under one condition; you have to teach me how to bake."

Pinkie Pie ran away instantly and returned seconds later with aprons and a chef's hat. "Let's start now!"

____________________________________________________________

Applejack and Rarity were at Sweet Apple Acres winding down for the night. Rarity had refused a ride home from Big Mac in order to stay the night. She knew that she ran the risk of wearing the same clothes for two days in a row but figured if she got up early enough she could rush home and change.

Applejack was nervous about having Rarity stay the night. Things had began heating up at the amusem*nt park and they had been making out recently. She knew she wasn't ready for anything further especially until she has been comfortable enough to tell her family.

They were watching television in the living room with Apple Bloom and Granny Smith. The show that played was a western drama that the Apple family enjoyed watching. Rarity wasn't amused at the show and couldn't be playful with the family around.

Rarity was getting bored and poked Applejack gently. "Let's go upstairs I want to see your room."

Applejack fidgeted and looked around. "Why don't we stay a little longer down here and then we can go up to sleep."

Rarity put on a pouty face and whined, "I'm bored! sitting here and doing nothing is no fun."

Granny Smith wasn't enjoying the complaints of the pale girl and said "Quiet down you two, I'm watchin' my show here."

Applejack looked at her grandmother "Sorry granny, I will take Rarity upstairs so you can watch your show in peace."

Granny Smith just watched them two leave and tapped Apple Bloom, "Hey kiddo, what's goin' on with them two?"

Apple Bloom looked to her grandmother causing her to miss an important moment in the show. "I don't know, granny, it's odd seein' them together like that."

Granny Smith had seen Applejack hanging out with that Rainbow haired girl before and not many others came by the farm. Applejack hardly had company come over, and especially invited to her room. "Maybe it's nothin' and I'm just over thinkin' things."

____________________________________________________________

Rarity was walking around in Applejack's room looking at all the pictures and memorabilia. "You know, it's going to get harder to tell them the longer you wait," Rarity said while picking up a picture of Applejack holding a ribbon.

Applejack sat on her bed and sighed softly, "I know Rarity, I know."

Rarity put the picture down and turned to face Applejack on her bed. "I don't want to be a dirty secret that you hide from your family. I will not start a relationship like that."

Applejack stayed silent for a bit until Rarity got on her bed and in her face. "I'm not ready to tell my grandmother that I am into girls. I don't even know if this means I am into girls or just into you."

Rarity chuckled, "Well I can say for sure you're into me. I just know that I am really into you."

Applejack blushed, "Why? Why do you even like me? I'm not fancy or sophisticated like you are. I'm just a simple country gal."

Rarity pressed her nose to Applejack's with their lips almost touching. "Because my heart goes crazy whenever I am around you. I don't care if you're some simple country gal, because you're my country gal. I can't help the way I feel, darling, I just do."

Applejack closed her eyes and moved her lips forward to meet Rarity's. It started as a soft kiss but then it became more needy. Applejack's lips pressed hard against Rarity's as the kiss continued. "Look what ya doin' to me Rarity. I am crazy about you too."

Rarity giggled and continued kissing Applejack for a while. "Let's be crazy together then shall we?"

Applejack nodded and they continued kissing for a while until they got tired of kissing and they just held hands while laying together.

Rainbow Dash was on the couch in the living room with Fluttershy snuggled up to her. A big blanket surrounded their bodies as they watched some movies. They hadn't been talking as much since that incident but they were trying to enjoy their time and not let the recent drama affect them.

Fluttershy was getting scared with the silence and the lack of talking. Even if they were watching movies it wasn't usual for their silence to be so lasting. "Rainbow..."

Rainbow Dash looked at Fluttershy and got the clue. She paused the movie and gave Fluttershy her full attention.

Fluttershy didn't have a clue where to start, "I was just wondering if the thing with Gilda didn't happen...Would you have still reacted like that with Discord?"

Rainbow Dash regretted pausing the movie. "Look, Fluttershy, I don't know how to say this without sounding petty or jealous; I just don't like the way he makes me feel. He looked right at me with a smirk, and then he said whatever he did to get you to hug him. I don't think I would have been as upset if he didn't look so smug about it afterwords."

Fluttershy gently laid her head on Rainbow Dash's neck and grabbed her hand. "I wish I saw it, because I didn't see it, I misunderstood your anger and I said stupid things to you. Still it just saddens me because he did share an interest in animals like me. I didn't want a boyfriend I just thought I had made a new friend."

Rainbow Dash ran her hand through Fluttershy's hair. "Yeah well, I don't think he was being honest about anything. I won't tell you to not make friends, I would love if you could find a friend who loved animals as much as you since I have friends who love sports like me. I want you happy Fluttershy because when I say I love you I don't just mean I want to get in your pants. So if you can find a friend who has the same interests as you then I will be okay with that. Just be careful...I would hate for someone to try and prey on you by lying."

Fluttershy yawned softly and kissed Rainbow Dash's forehead. "Don't worry Dashie, even if someone lied to me about liking animals just to get close to me, I would never let anyone get in between us. I am happy being your girlfriend and your number one fan in sports."

Rainbow Dash smiled softly before kissing Fluttershy's lips. She kept the kiss going for a bit until it became a make out session. Their tongues were getting involved and that's when they had to break the kiss before it got messy. "Well I am happy with you as my girlfriend, though I think Scootaloo has you beat for my number one fan."

Fluttershy giggled and grabbed Rainbow Dash's hand. "Well let's go to your room and find out just who really is your number one fan." Fluttershy winked at Rainbow Dash before walking with her hand in hand to her room.

____________________________________________________________

Morning came and Gilda was dressed to impress. She had a brown shirt that clung to her curves and jeans with the holes in them. She had her hair styled in a in a faux-hawk and her shoes were clean. "Yeah I look good," she said while looking into the mirror. She packed her stuff for school and started walking to the bus stop to get there.

When she arrived at school she scanned the parking lot for Pinkie Pie and the others. She was focused on finding Pinkie Pie so she could apologize before class even started. She would have no other opportunities till lunch if she failed in finding her.

She found the group having a morning chat before breakfast but noticed they all seemed to have had themselves a great night. She was the one who should have had a good night not stupid Fluttershy. She approached the group with Sunset already at arms and kept her distance. "I am not here to fight. I actually have something to say to Pinkie."

Sunset wasn't at 100 percent this morning. She had spent the night baking all sorts of sweets with a modicum of success. "Well if you want to speak to Pinkie you have to speak to her with all of us here."

Gilda didn't care if the others were there as long as they didn't stop her. "Alright, Pinkie Pie I have been doing a lot of thinking. I was a pain to all of you but I was especially cruel to you because I was jealous. I just want you to know that I am no longer going to be a mean person and I want to say I am truly sorry for hurting you."

Pinkie Pie didn't know if Gilda was being honest but at the same time she knew that forgiving Sunset had turned out well for her. "If you truly mean what you are saying, than I will accept your apology. That doesn't mean we are friends but I hope one day we can be."

Gilda produced some fake tears. "Oh thank you, I am so happy to be given a second chance. I was so cruel to you all and I truly do hope that I can prove to you all how much of a good friend I can be, I know it will take time but I promise to stay good."

Applejack couldn't tell if Gilda was being honest. Her words seemed sincere enough but the motive behind them didn't. "Well just so ya know this second chance is also a last one for ya."

Rainbow Dash chimed in, "Exactly! So please make this count Gilda, we used to be good friends and as I said before you could do well in the soccer team. If you truly are turning over a new leaf then who knows you might just find yourself some more friends and even someone special."

Gilda smiled, "Looking forward to that, well I'm going to head to class early so I can get a head start in studying." She left the group while almost puking from how putrid it was being so nice. She hated the fact she had to fake being nice. It was almost making her itchy to lash out and beat someone down. "Well that was gross, but hopefully worth it. I got a second chance and I won't be blowing it."

Hope you enjoyed the chapter and there is more to come still.

Temptation and Drama

The day had been going by without any visible issues for the group of friends. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy had been doing fine since the night before and their relationship seemed even more unbreakable. Applejack and Rarity have been easing into each other comfortably and things were getting hot. Pinkie Pie was really enthralled with Sunset Shimmer's new attitude. Gilda seemed to have been sticking to her word and hadn't been causing any problems.

When lunch came around the group of friends sat together as they usually would. With the recent changes the conversation hadn't been normal. Now all they talk about is relationships and frivolous things. Rainbow Dash still had a promising career ahead of her with her athletic prowess and knew with the season starting soon; she would have to keep her head in the game.

Rainbow Dash broke the conversational mold with her inquiry, "Hey guys can we get back to talking about other things besides mushy stuff?"

Applejack liked the idea, "I hear ya RD, a change in topic would do us some good."

Rarity raised an eyebrow at Applejack, "Is that so, Darling? I thought our conversations were pleasant with the new exchange of information."

Fluttershy chimed in, "I agree, It's nice not talking about the drama or other things that go on around here."

Sunset stayed silent because she smelled a trap.

Pinkie Pie stayed silent because she was staring at Sunset in a non stalking manner.

____________________________________________________________

Gilda was sitting alone at lunch and just enjoying her meal. The food wasn't as tasty as the view of Rainbow Dash's backside was. She was in her own little world until some pricks had the nerve of interrupting her. She saw two younger boys who, if her memory served her, were named Snips and Snails.

Snips asked the question again since the lonely girl didn't seem to hear her. "Can we sit with you?"

Gilda looked at them with ire but remembered that she was supposed to be a good person now. "Sure, why don't you both join me for lunch."

Snips and Snails sat down and just as they did Flash Sentry approached the table and sat down without asking. He looked over at Gilda before checking out what she was staring at. He noticed his ex sitting with the group of girls who stopped her evil reign of terror. "You know she wasn't as nice as she is now. I wonder maybe if I didn't give up on her that we could have been a great couple."

Gilda didn't give a two shi- "Actually you might have a point there. It seems all she needed was some care and love. You still have feelings for her?"

Flash scratched his head and felt embarrassed. "I still do, I just thought that she really didn't care about me since she was spending all her time doing shady things."

Snails chimed into the conversation, "I miss her as a friend. We had a lot of fun and now she is with those girls."

Gilda had a big grin on her face that was hidden by their diverted attention. "Well you guys should let her know how you feel. Flash you definitely should let her know you're still interested in her and want a second chance to do right by her."

Flash perked up a bit, "Yeah! Well I mean..." he suddenly got quieter, "What if she isn't into me anymore?"

Gilda knew that Sunset had a thing for Pinkie but she wasn't sure how solid it was. It was still a perfect opportunity to get revenge on Sunset for getting beat up by her. "Alright well, I hear she is working at the bakery with Pinkie Pie, why don't you drop by after school and talk to her? Just ask to speak to her privately and see where things go, deal?"

Flash smiled and felt genuinely happy. "Thanks Gilda, you know you don’t seem as bad as they made you out to be."

Gilda was feeling giddier and was hoping that Discord was making moves as well.

____________________________________________________________

Discord was in his alley with a disposable cellphone setting something up for this afternoon. "...So you guys understand exactly what I want right? You can't muck this up. I don't want Fluttershy hurt and I definitely don't need Rainbow Dash dead. I just want you guys to rough her up and when I arrive you guys turn your attention towards me and pretend to get defeated and flee. If there are any cops around abort quickly and if you guys get caught or beat up remember that you have no association with me."

Discord heard the voice on the line asking more questions and he answered them. "Yes, she is a jock, so don't go too easy. No, she isn't a wrestler just a soccer player so watch for the feet. Weapons? I don't think she carries anything to protect herself. Payment will be received when I see fit... Just remember who you're dealing with and don't forget how far my network can reach. Now I have to go so you guys just get ready and don't forget; I will punish anyone who harms Fluttershy."

Discord hung up the phone and smashed it before throwing the pieces into the nearest receptacle. "Today I shall win you over Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash will be a thing of the past."

Rainbow Dash sighed, "Look guys it didn't have to become such a big issue, I just wanted the conversations to change once in a while. I don't mind the mushy stuff as much as before but I would like some cool topics thrown in the mix."

Rarity chuckled, "Silly girl, you think sports is universally cool? Some people are more into fashion than sports, you know."

Fluttershy giggled, "Rarity does have a good point. Maybe we should talk about fashion as well as sports and farming."

Applejack and Rainbow Dash sighed in unison and then looked at each other. They laughed softly before continuing the silly debate with their significant others.

Meanwhile Pinkie Pie and Sunset were communicating secretly with each other using their eyes and their hands. Pinkie Pie clasped her free hand with Sunset's while they ate and gazed at each other lovingly. They were in their own little world and didn't need to leave it for any silly reason.

Then the lunch bell rang signifying that class was going to resume...That shut everyone up.

Principal Celestia had been craving some delicious cake and knew she would need to get her fix today. "Hey Luna, want to get some cake with me after school?"

Luna raised an eyebrow and looked at her sister with confusion. "You mean me? Your lovely and caring sister who you have been distant with? Sounds fun..."

Celestia blushed and felt very apologetic, "Look I am sorry but it's not easy running a school that has mixed grades and having to deal with things."

Luna got close to her sister and looked her dead in the eyes, "Seeing as I’m the vice principal; you're right, I could never possibly know how hard running this school is..."

Celestia wanted to somehow say something without it backfiring on her. "I love you my dearest sister," she said sweetly. She felt that it was the only thing that couldn't be thrown back at her.

Luna softened her gaze and kissed her sister's cheek. "Alright we shall get some cake, and Celestia..."

Celestia smiled until her sister paused and she looked at her with worry.

Luna grinned and said "I love you too," before walking away slowly.

Celestia was going to have her cake and eat it too, with Luna.

____________________________________________________________

The rest of the day rolled by and soon school had ended. The group of friends had all met at the entrance of the school before parting for the day. It seemed they each had somewhere to be and most of them would be apart from their significant others.

Rarity was sad that she had to baby sit the monster known as Sweetie Bell. While seemingly cute and innocent the monster was a nightmare to take care of when she was hyper. Sweetie Bell was usually very hyper and always wanting to talk. Rarity wanted badly to be with Applejack who was going to be busy with chores and helping Apple Bloom study for a test.

Sunset Shimmer was going to try helping out with the bakery and with Pinkie around she felt secure about not messing up too badly. She wanted to earn some money because she wasn't going to return to the other dimension where ponies and magic existed. She slowly fell in love with her new life and was falling for Pinkie harder each day.

Rainbow Dash was doing her usual routine of letting her team know she was going to be a bit late and escorting Fluttershy off to the animal shelter. Things would have been normal but something awful was in the works.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash had been walking the normal route to the animal shelter with Fluttershy and was enjoying the quiet walk together. She was still a bit upset knowing that Discord was still working at the shelter and wished he would just disappear. "Shy, if anything happens just text me okay? I can always make up practice with my team but I can't forgive myself if anything happened to you."

Fluttershy blushed and leaned her head on Rainbow Dash's shoulder. "I am flattered you worry so much but I promise I can handle myself. I know that Discord won't try to hurt me and if he tries anything funny I can always tell our boss. I am sure he wouldn't like it if his favorite volunteer was being harassed."

Rainbow Dash felt much better until she noticed some people closing in on her and Fluttershy. "Shy remember what I said to do if we were ever going to be attacked?"

Fluttershy nervously whispered, "Yes."

Rainbow Dash quietly replied with "Do that now, and no matter what happens don't stop running."

Fluttershy rushed off while Rainbow Dash made sure she was too far for the attackers to give chase. She gauged the numbers and it seemed it was only three of them. She was judging by their build that they weren't too threatening physically but she wasn't sure if they were carrying weapons. "Alright you jerks, now that she isn't around let's have some fun!"

____________________________________________________________

Discord was watching in the distance as his plan had already went to ruin because of Fluttershy fleeing. It wasn't a total bust as he could still pretend to rescue Rainbow Dash. "Alright guys rough that nuisance up," he whispered as his eyes began to widen with anticipation.

He watched as one of the guys he hired had been kicked so hard that he heard something break. He couldn't believe his eyes and what he saw worried him. It was like a whole different person from what Gilda described. Instead of some jock being beaten up by three thugs he saw a demon destroying three would be attackers.

After the first guy had doubled over in pain the other two pulled out knives. The one who was the most calm went in to attack first only to have his arm broken and his weapon fall to the ground and soon his body. He had been countered with a basic disabling technique and then tossed to the ground with seemingly no effort on the defender's part.

The last guy was nervous and his hand was shaking. "Please...Stop! you win, I give up," He whimpered cowardly as the intended victim approached him.

The supposedly easy to take out jock with a crazed look on her face laughed. "You want mercy? You have that knife in your hand that you would have used on me and then did who knows what to my girlfriend and you expect mercy? No...I won't grant you mercy, in fact your chance for mercy had ran off long ago."

Discord closed his eyes and felt sick as he heard the scream of his hired thug echo in his ears. Discord's hand wouldn't stop shaking. The primordial feeling of fear had not been this strong since ever. He couldn't fathom such a frail looking girl being that strong and yet he saw the carnage with his own eyes. He had hired three thugs and within minutes they were dispatched with ease. He realized that not all was lost, he still had this new information to work with.

With Rainbow Dash being prone to violent outbursts when it comes to protecting Fluttershy it seems he could formulate another plan this time one that didn't risk having to worry about medical fees.

____________________________________________________________

When Rainbow Dash finished beating up the goons she took a look at her handiwork. She wasn't proud of defeating them especially with how brutal her retaliation had been. She used a pay phone and reported the situation anonymously so they could at least get their injuries checked out.

She wasn't going to stick around to press charges since they didn't get to land a blow on her. She also knew they wouldn't be stupid enough to press charges with weapons in their possession. It was not her priority in the least since she had to make sure her girlfriend is okay...

____________________________________________________________

Gilda was at the apartment her parents were letting her stay in until they returned from their business trip. She was thinking of ways to mess with Rarity and Applejack since they seem to be doing just fine and that bothered her. "I wonder if Rarity has any exes I can call or if Apple-" She stopped herself mid sentence to laugh. The idea of Applejack dating anyone was too funny to her.

Before she could continue her evil deeds she got a text message. She opened her phone and saw it was from Discord. She opened the message and saw it was a picture of three men on the floor in various states of pain and under the picture it said "What else are you not telling me about Rainbow Dash?"

Gilda was both turned on with Rainbow Dash's carnage and nervous about how angry her ally was. She knew that Rainbow Dash had a bad temper before but only seen it when Fluttershy hadn't been around. Gilda gritted her teeth in the realization that Fluttershy's presence calms Rainbow Dash's rage. "Damn it, why can't anything go right? I just want the love of my life in my arms...Maybe Discord isn't as great as he claimed to be. I might have to fire him if he can't provide me with the results I need."

She began typing a message to Discord and was ready to send it but she eyed it over first. "I think this should get my point across very good," she said with an evil grin before sending the message to her soon to be ex ally.

____________________________________________________________

Discord was about to arrive at the shelter when his main phone alerted him of a message. He saw it was from Gilda wondering how apologetic she was going to be for her part in the disaster. Instead of a message intended to apologize he got a threat that made him even more nervous than he was when he saw the destruction of three thugs not too long ago.

He gulped and shook his hand while reading the message in his head, "Discord, what you just saw was nothing compared to what me and Rainbow Dash did during our youth. Now if you want the same fate then please fail at keeping your part of the bargain for 48 more hours and I will be oh so happy to teach you a lesson about breaking promises."

He couldn't tell if she was bluffing and didn't want to risk it. Not only does failure look bad for his reputation but having a face only a mother could love would not sell his anarchist vibe. He knew he had to pull all the stops into his next plan or he would have to deal with an angry, demented, and insane high school girl.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter guys :)

Don't worry the story isn't going to drag too long nor geet cut short. But it will be heading to the ending soon.

Discord's last stand

Discord had to redeem himself or his reputation would go downhill. His life was also in jeopardy as he was given the ultimatum to succeed or suffer. He knew that it was desperate times and he needed something to make Fluttershy see Rainbow Dash in a way that isn't flattering.

He then realized that she did his job for him. The goons she attacked could be used as evidence that Rainbow Dash isn't the girl Fluttershy paints her as. He decided to take the pictures of the beaten men and them getting into an ambulance after they arrived. He closed his phone and waited till Rainbow Dash would be at practice before making his way to the shelter.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash had finally made it to Fluttershy and was glad she was unharmed. They hugged and held on to each other in joy that none of them got hurt. Then they kissed passionately before they realized they still had places to be. "Hey, Shy, becareful ok? If anything happens you run and hide and call me. No matter what happens I will always be here for you."

Fluttershy nodded and smiled. "I love you, Dashie!"

Rainbow Dash blushed, "I love you too, Shy."

They peered into each other's eyes for a minute and finally they separated to go on with their day. Rainbow Dash went off to practice and Fluttershy was taking care of the animals and all was right in the world...

____________________________________________________________

Sunset Shimmer was taking orders until she was fully capable of baking at the level she needed to be. She had been grateful that the Cakes had allowed an inexperienced girl like her work. She was getting along fine with them and with the customers as well. She had felt that things were going well until a former flame had entered her world.

"Hey Sunset," Flash sentry said as he entered the bakery.

Sunset turned to him and smiled. Even if they weren't together and things ended badly she was working and had to maintain a level of professionalism. "Flash, what can I get you today?"

"Well I really didn't come here for something sweet to eat more of someone sweet to talk to," Flash said with a smirk.

Sunset was into Flash after they had broken up but with her current relationship those feelings went away. "Well you had a chance and blew it. Besides I have work to do so please leave if you aren't going to be doing business."

Pinkie Pie had been working on baking some sweets and wasn't aware of the drama happening in the bakery. She was just grabbing some cupcakes to put on display when she walked to the front to see Flash getting awfully close to Sunset Shimmer. "Hey what's going on?"

Sunset turned to Pinkie and smiled, "Nothing babe, just person who was about to leave."

Pinkie chuckled, "Oh, well stop by again Flash and buy some cupcakes."

Flash glared at Pinkie, "I wouldn't eat your garbage if it was the last food on earth. I am not here to buy sweets from a third rate baker, I want my girl back."

Sunset wanted to sock him in the face but the Cakes were coming out to see what the disturbance was.

Pinkie Pie on the other hand threw her sense of professionalism and her usually joyful mood aside. "You want her back? Ha! You never even thought about her feelings when you broke up with her. You don't want her back you just want her at your side. I love her and treat her great, you had your chance and blew it. So do yourself a favor and just leave both this bakery and our life."

Mrs. Cake hated drama and didn't like someone bringing drama into their establishment. She knew however Sunset's situation and her relationship to Pinkie Pie so for their sake she ignored this incident. "This can't happen again, girls. Pinkie Pie you know better and Sunset drama isn't for the bakery."

Pinkie Pie was shedding tears, "I'm not a third rate baker...Am I?"

Celestia had walked through that door with her sister in tow and had a giant grin on her face. "Hey, Pinkie, got any delicious cake for me?"

Mrs. Cake smiled at Pinkie, "Well there is your answer."

Sunset was still feeling awful that her ex said what he did to her. Sure jealousy wasn't something she could brag about not having, and she was a problematic person before but that was just a new low. She knew that he had to pay but if she started acting up it would mean she really hasn't changed.

Applejack was picking apples from the trees and constantly thinking about Rarity. "I can't work like this!"

Big Mac was chuckling to himself about his sister's behavior. "Sis you should jus' go and see her," he said while helping out with apple collecting.

Applejack narrowed her eyes at him, "You suggestin' I stop workin' hard because I have a girlfriend? I'm still the same hard workin' girl, you know, nothing has changed.

Big Mac sighed, "Listen sis, I'm not much for words but ya need to live life while you're young. If you really thinkin' about Rarity then go be with Rarity. I can pick up the slack and you can pay me back whenever."

Applejack smiled at her brother, "Thanks, Sugar Cube, I shall be gettin' along now. Tell Granny not to wait up on me."

Big Mac waved his sister off and was glad she was gone. He had himself a date with a teacher from the school and didn't want things to be awkward. "Mighty fine day for a date with Cheerilee."

____________________________________________________________

Discord had finally made it to the animal shelter and looked really sad. He had even forced himself to shed some tears to add realism to his facade. When he made it to the back room he locked on to his target and put on a show.

"Oh Fluttershy, there you are. I was hoping you were okay..."

Fluttershy turned around and looked at Discord who seemed to be crying.

"Oh my goodness! Discord what happened?"

"It was horrible, I was on my way here when I saw these men brutality beaten by your girlfriend. It was so scary that I froze with fear."

Fluttershy was stunned, she had known that Rainbow Dash was capable of defending herself but to brutalize her attackers was a step too far. "Well she told me they were trying to attack us," she said in her lover's defense.

Discord pulled out his phone and cycled through the pictures to show Fluttershy the sheer carnage that Rainbow Dash had created. "Look at them, you think these guys deserve this because of a suspicion? Also while I was there... I heard one of them beg for mercy. Rainbow Dash didn't grant him mercy. In fact she said 'your chances for mercy had ran off long ago' and she needlessly hurt him even more."

Fluttershy gasped and put her hand over her mouth. "Stop, I don't want to see anymore of these pictures...I don't want to hear anymore about this. Just please stop!"

Discord put his phone away and internally cheered. His potential victory was just around the corner and he felt nothing would get in his way. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you upset...I just was glad she didn't hurt you because I saw what she did to those men and I know you two were arguing because of me."

Fluttershy hadn't even thought of the possibility of being attacked by her lover. "I appreciate the concern but I promise Rainbow Dash would never hit me. She has always protected me and even when I got her really mad before she never lashed out on me."

Discord bit his lip in anger and blood spilled, "You mean to tell me that even after seeing the pictures, you feel safe around her?"

Fluttershy giggled, "Yes I do, when I am around her I feel safe and loved. I will have to talk to her about what she did but I can't blame her for wanting to keep herself safe."

Discord was seething with anger, "Those men are in the hospital and you're okay with it? This girl destroyed these men without so much as breaking a sweat and you're alright with that?"

Fluttershy didn't like Discord's tone, "Why are you so mad, Discord?"

Discord huffed and then calmly smiled. He put his phone on camera mode and kissed Fluttershy while she was off guard and snapped a photo of it. "There...That ought to do the trick."

Fluttershy was stunned. She was kissed by a man and worse of all he took a picture of it. "Discord! How dare you kiss me, I am with someone you jerk."

Discord chuckled, "I don't care and I don't care about you anymore. I hate you and your stupid animals. I have finally got what I needed and I should have just done this sooner. Now I hit send and... voila I am done." He clicked the send button and sent it to Gilda hoping she would be pleased with the evidence. He also sent it to Rainbow Dash's cellphone. He got the number from Gilda just for this purpose.

Fluttershy had finally realized what just happened and what was going to happen. "No! You can't...She will hate me."

Discord grinned widely and laughed, "It's too late for that, It's already been done. Have a nice life, Fluttershy." He walked out the back room and left the shelter after yelling "I quit!" to the owner.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash was coaching rather than practicing since she wanted her friends to get at her level as well. She had been thinking about possibly letting Gilda into the team if she was really going to change her ways. She was itching to actually start playing against other teams and felt that with the lot she has this year they could be undefeated.

She felt her phone vibrating and made sure it wasn't a message from Fluttershy needing help. She looked at the message and saw it was a picture of Discord kissing Fluttershy and underneath the photo was the words "While you're at practice..." Rainbow Dash closed her phone and began shaking with rage.

She blew her whistle and halted the progress of the practice. "Alright girls I have something to take care of. I will be back soon if I don't return in a while just continue on without me."

With that she ran off and didn't look back.

____________________________________________________________

While Rainbow Dash left some of the other team members had begun discussing things among themselves. "I know she is a pro and really a great person but we can't let Rainbow Dash's drama cause us to lose practice. If worst comes to worst we might have to get a new captain," said one of the members to the others.

The idea was controversial but with the season starting soon it wasn't helpful for practice to be missed or halted over girl drama. It was wrong talking about possible mutiny but at the same time they needed to keep focus and win the games. Possible scholarships and proud parents were on the line.

____________________________________________________________

Fluttershy was panicking and crying in a bathroom. She had shaky hands and her cellphone screen was full of tears. She tried typing out something to explain the situation but was too afraid of saying something wrong. "Oh why did this have to happen? I just wanted to be happy, I guess I shouldn't expect that."

She sobbed for a bit until a knock was heard on the bathroom door. "Who...Is it?" She asked in between sobs.

The person on the other side responded with, "It's me Shy, I need to talk to you."

Fluttershy wasn't prepared for breaking up or any other forms of retaliation and just cried. "Please Dashie, don't do this, I didn't kiss him-"

"I know!" Rainbow Dash said harshly. "I don't know what happened but I know you wouldn't betray me, Shy."

Fluttershy opened the bathroom door and decided to face the music. "So..."

Rainbow Dash hugged her close, "I don't understand why people are messing with our relationship. I just know that I'm not going to give you up."

Fluttershy buried her face into Rainbow Dash's neck and cried.

Rainbow Dash just held her and in that moment nothing in the world mattered. She didn't care about Discord's little ruse, her team's chance of winning or even what was going on outside that bathroom. It was all irrelevant to her at the moment. "I love you, Fluttershy, and I will be damned if I give up on you."

Fluttershy squeezed Rainbow Dash in response and calmed a bit from her hysteric crying. She was happy that she wasn't going to lose Rainbow Dash to whatever the heck was going on.

____________________________________________________________

Discord, back at his alley, was pleased as punch. He felt his job was done and any second now Gilda would text him with a job well done. When the text never came it started to get him worried. "What is going on? I kissed Fluttershy...I kissed her and it felt so nice too. I wish it was a mutual kiss but oh well. I at least got my job done."

Gilda appeared in the alley with an angry face. "Discord!" she yelled like a banshee.

Discord was preparing himself to fight if needed. He wasn't a martial artist in any form but he had been in tussles before. "Look I did everything I could but they won't break up. I thought if I kissed Fluttershy it would make Rainbow Dash mad with rage."

Gilda laughed, "You idiot, you kissed Fluttershy, you didn't think that Fluttershy would just let Rainbow Dash think it was mutual did you?"

Discord scratched his chin, "No...I also didn't think that Rainbow Dash would care since the hug incident almost costed them their relationship."

Gilda shook her fist and got closer to Discord, "I can't believe you're this dense. You were hugged by Fluttershy that time and this time you forced yourself on her for a kiss. She isn't mad at Fluttershy, she is mad at you."

Discord was feeling a bit off about how cool Gilda was acting since fists weren't hitting his face yet. "How do you know all this?"

Gilda flashed a wicked grin, "I got a text from Rainbow Dash. It specifically states how she wants you to pay and since I really want to get in her good graces I felt it would be awesome if I helped her request."

Discord gulped and reached for his phone to dial for help but he wasn't fast enough and soon the pummeling of a lifetime began.

Gilda had found a way to get into Rainbow Dash's good grace and since the text was telling all the friends about Discord's misdeed she knew that her actions would earn her favor with the rest of them. It was only a matter of time until they trusted her enough and her plan of winning Dash over was in effect. She had to lose an ally but for the sake of the greater 'good'.

Well I hope you enjoyed the chapter :)

Love or Sports?

Rainbow Dash stayed with Fluttershy at the shelter. She decided her team would be alright without her for this practice session, given the circ*mstances. She even helped out with the cleaning of the animals much to her chagrin. It wasn't easy being in a relationship but she wouldn't trade it for the world.

____________________________________________________________

Applejack had finally made it to Rarity's house and she knocked on the door. She waited a bit until she knocked again and then the door opened with Rarity asking "Who is it?"

"It's me, Sugar Cube, I've come for you," Applejack replied with a rose in hand.

Rarity was surprised by the romantic gesture especially since it was from Applejack. She grabbed the rose and sniffed it before giving her girlfriend a kiss.

"This is so... Thoughtful, I can't believe you came by. What about your fa-"

Applejack kissed her again cutting her off from speaking, "No need to worry, Sugar Cube. Big Mac is covering for me. I'll owe him but it's the least I can do since I really wanted to see you."

Rarity pulled Applejack inside the house and closed the door behind them.

"Sweetie Belle is almost done with homework. Why don't you wait for me in my room until I am done helping her and I am all yours," She said with a hint of seductiveness.

Applejack gulped and broke a nervous sweat, "Sure, jus’ don't rush on my account."

Rarity giggled, "Oh, I won't. I'm worth the wait, after all."

The soccer team had decided to practice without Rainbow Dash, and Flitter had decided to talk to the group about possibly replacing their captain.

"It's not like I dislike Rainbow Dash, it's just this is our final season of soccer before we graduate. I rather we win and stay focused than allow romantic drama ruin the chance of victory."

Cloudchaser was keen on agreeing with her twin sister, "It's high time we showed the world that Rainbow Dash isn't the only reason why we win. I know she has been a great captain but ever since she started dating Fluttershy, it's like she's a whole different person."

The team was on the fence about mutiny. They had enjoyed the leadership of Rainbow Dash in the past and are trying to get past Fluttershy's part in the current situation.

Flitter knew she could lose the crowd so she opted for a voting system. "Alright girls here is the deal, we can have Rainbow Dash still be the captain but if she can put her romantic drama aside. If you think we should keep Rainbow Dash as captain sans the Flutterdrama then raise your hands. If you think we should replace her regardless than keep them down."

She watched for raised hands and counted them. With the number she had counted minus the remaining teammates she had the majority vote and would have to approach Rainbow Dash with the results.

____________________________________________________________

Gilda had just finished kicking the crap out of Discord and went home to text RD the picture of Discord beaten up. She looked at the picture of Rainbow Dash on her phone and smiled. She wanted Rainbow Dash so badly and with Discord's failure it actually opened up the door for a chance.

She was inside her room eyeing the text she was about to send. She wanted it to be just right and to make sense that she met Discord by chance. She was getting frustrated and went to look outside her window to get some new sights in her eyes.

"Ugh, I need to get her off my mind before I go insane. Who's that scrumptious looking girl with those muffins?"

Gilda thought she had seen that girl before at the school but since she was so wrapped up in Rainbow Dash she didn't give a second glance.

"Well Rainbow Dash said she hoped I made a friend. I think it's time I do just that..."

____________________________________________________________

Pinkie Pie was almost finished for the day with baking and felt something wrap around her stomach. It was a soft embrace and she backed into it and sighed.

"I am so happy Sunset, you have been what I was missing in my life."

Sunset stayed silent and held Pinkie close. She just wanted a moment to appreciate what she had and how far she came from who she was.

Pinkie Pie turned around and rubbed Sunset's face gently, "I'm glad you came to this world. Sure you used to be a Stinky McStinkerton when you were bad, but now you're the party that resides in my heart, and I hope it never ends."

Sunset was almost in tears and her tough girl persona would break at any moment if she allowed it to. She kissed Pinkie Pie lovingly and was going to make out with her until a customer was getting hungry for their baked goods.

"Darn, this moment was almost perfect, but then again perfect is overrated."

____________________________________________________________

The day was turning into night and soon the moon would be out. Rainbow Dash was at Fluttershy's again and it almost felt normal to take turns sleeping over each other's houses.

Rainbow Dash was eating dinner with Fluttershy, and her mother, when the thought popped into her head.

"Is it weird?"

Fluttershy and her mother both looked at her inquisitively

"Well, it's just we haven't spent a night apart ever since we started dating. I know we knew each other since kids but why isn't it weird for a couple to spend all their nights together?"

Fluttershy's mother giggled, "Usually only married people are willing or able to spend each night with their partner. I think it's a good sign that you two wish to spend each night together. It shows that you two are committed to each other. It's not normal but I think it isn't a bad weird."

Fluttershy was red in the face, "Ma-married? Oh my, are we really like a married couple?"

Rainbow Dash chuckled, "Look at her face, it's priceless."

Fluttershy looked down and twiddled her fingers together, "It's just I... I've always wanted to be married one day."

Rainbow Dash's laughter died down and the mood got serious.

"One day we will get married Fluttershy, I don't intend on leaving you even if I have to switch colleges to be with you."

Fluttershy's mother was a bit worried by that statement, "Rainbow Dash, don't you have a promising career in sports? I understand you wanting to be with my daughter but your relationship with her could wait until after you have secured yourself a spot in a national soccer team."

Rainbow Dash went silent and the atmosphere got tense.

"Rainbow Dash, my mom is right... I will always be here but that opportunity won't. I'm sure you would be upset if you gave up on soccer to be with me..." Fluttershy sadly added.

Rainbow Dash took a deep breath, "I understand you want what's best for me, I really do; I just think that if I am going to be a successful athlete I will need someone in my life to be there with me. I don't want to be one of those lonely athletes that have random hook ups with fans. I want to be an athlete who's also already with the girl I love more than anything in this world."

Fluttershy's mom didn't know how to respond to that, at first. She slowly mulled it over and then gave out a response, "Well I can see you're determined to have both Fluttershy and a sports career in your life. I don't know how hard it will be but if you truly want to have both you have my support. With this conversation getting this deep I think it's time I get going and let you two kiddies get to talking."

She got up and cleared her plate before leaving to meet up with some friends for the evening. She didn't like being alone with an amorous couple, since she didn't have a snuggle bunny of her own.

____________________________________________________________

Flitter was combing her hair for the night when her sister barged into her room. "Oh come on in I wasn't changing or anything, this time..."

Cloudchaser blushed, "Sorry, like I said it was an accident, anyways we need to talk."

Flitter was certain that her sister was just trying to sneak a peek but gave her the benefit of the doubt.

"About what? If it's about me having the bigger piece of steak I already told you I burn more calories than you."

Cloudchaser chuckled, "No it's not about food this time. I actually wanted to talk to you about Rainbow Dash."

Flitter paused her brushing and raised an eyebrow to her sister, "What about her?"

Cloudchaser stepped closer to her sister as she spoke, "Are you sure you want to go through with this? It will be the first time in history that a member of the team tells the captain of the said team that she would have to break up with their girlfriend or be removed as captain."

Flitter noticed how close her sister got and gave her the brush, "If you're going to be creepy then you can at least brush my hair. As for Rainbow Dash it is her own fault. She has been either missing, or skipping out on practice. She isn't focused on soccer and instea- ouch!"

Cloudchaser apologized when she accidentally brushed a knot. "Sorry... go on."

Flitter puffed her cheeks in anger, "I forgot what I was going to say. Whatever, I just think we need to make some changes is all."

Cloudchaser nodded and kept brushing her sister's hair. She had missed being close with her sister like they used to be when they shared a room. Her actions have made her seem like she was into her sister in a different way but she was just too ashamed to admit she missed sharing a room and having their twin bond being strong.

Rainbow Dash was alone with Fluttershy and the silence only thickened as the seconds ticked by. It almost seemed as if they both had been too stunned by how far their emotions have gotten in such a short time.

Rainbow Dash had always felt something special about Fluttershy. It was hard to explain especially with her lack of romanticism. She knew that something about Fluttershy just made her feel right.

"Hey, Shy, you know I have done a lot of stupid things in my life, but being with you doesn't feel like those times. I honestly think being with you has been the first right decision I have made in my whole life."

Fluttershy was bright red by that confession, "Wow... I think that is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. Rainbow Dash, since the first day you saved me from those bullies I have always felt something for you. I just was too afraid of being rejected to say anything and plus we were kids."

Rainbow Dash leaned in and pulled Fluttershy close, "We aren't kids anymore, and were going to be adults soon. I know sports was my choice in career but my heart beats for you. There you go again making me all mushy. I love how you make me want to be a better me."

Fluttershy felt her heart beat faster and her face burn in delight. She leaned in and kissed Rainbow Dash being the aggressor in this situation.

Rainbow Dash kissed her lovingly and melted into the kiss. She had finally found something that made her life worth living that didn't revolve around running around kicking a ball. She enjoyed her night but when morning came trouble had occurred.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy had just been dropped off at school by Fluttershy's mother. They had woken up a little later than usual and had to get a ride to be on time.

When she was at the parking lot she was approached by the entire soccer team and was confused by the ambush.

"What's going on, girls, something happen while I was gone yesterday?"

They all stood silent except for Flitter who decided to talk, "No, that is exactly the problem. We can't continue to function as a team if our leader isn't giving us her all. We all spoke and decided it was time for a change."

Rainbow Dash didn't like where the conversation was leading, "So what's the deal? What did you guys decide?"

Flitter suddenly felt alone as the squad of girls behind her went mute, "We have decided that you're no longer fit to be our captain and should resign the position. You can stay on the team but if you can't do your duties as captain then someone else should be given that role."

Rainbow Dash felt betrayed, it was almost as if an actual knife had been put to her back, "So you ambush me with Fluttershy around to let me know that I'm not fit to be captain because I'm spending too much time with her?"

Flitter became intimidated by Rainbow Dash's tone, "Ye-yes... It's no offense to Fluttershy, it's just we can't rely on a captain who puts her girlfriend before her team."

Rainbow Dash was furious and grabbed Fluttershy and walked away without saying another word.

____________________________________________________________

When lunch came around the group of friends were being relayed the details of Rainbow Dash's betrayal.

"Can they do that, darling, I thought the captain made all the decisions?"

"Shoot, RD, don't that jus' beat all. I can't believe they would do that."

"WHAT?! If you aren't captain, they don't get the special cupcakes I make for team victories!"

Sunset Shimmer really didn't know what to say since she didn't know Rainbow Dash that long, "Sorry to hear..."

Fluttershy had felt it was all her fault so she didn't join in on the conversation. She just felt awful for making Rainbow Dash have to go through this for her sake.

While Fluttershy had her head turned she noticed Gilda was hanging out with Sunset Shimmer's old crew and her ex. It appeared that Gilda had made friends which was good news. She also noticed an amorous Derpy was clinging to the ex-villain.

Fluttershy tapped Rainbow Dash and pointed at Gilda's direction. "It seems she has been making friends and being good. Maybe she really is turning a new leaf after all."

Rainbow Dash smiled, "I sure hope so, I could use a bit of good news right now. I mean besides our bit of good news that we haven't shared."

Fluttershy held Rainbow Dash's hand under the table and squeezed it slightly, "We can tell them whenever you're ready, I think it's wonderful news."

The group of friends had stopped chattering long enough to hear the whispering girls.

Rarity was too curious and loved information, "What news are you two lovebirds keeping from us?"

Rainbow Dash stammered, "Well... I... You see... It's just..."

"Rainbow Dash and I are going to get married after college," Fluttershy blurted out a bit too loudly.

____________________________________________________________

Gilda was enjoying a nice lunch with her new friends and her first girlfriend when she heard the worst thing ever.

"What did Fluttershy just say?"

Flash Sentry was stupid enough to actually answer, "She said that Rainbow Dash and her are going to get married after college. Is it even legal?"

Gilda gritted her teeth and almost puked internally from disgust, "Well, I'm happy for them. I just hope nothing happens to ruin their relationship before they tie the knot..."

She had begun thinking of ways to end their relationship before they officially got engaged. She knew that time was of the essence and with soccer season starting soon she needed to get on the team and get close to Rainbow Dash. She was almost ready to succeed and then Fluttershy had to spring that bit of info.

Gilda was now going to have to step her plans into overdrive. She needed to secure herself a slot on the team and make sure that Fluttershy doesn't have the happy ending that belonged to Gilda herself.

Sorry for the delay but my blog explained what happened.

Anyways I will try to remain on schedule but I can't make any promises since a lot of things are happening.

The Big Game

Time had passed since Rainbow Dash lost her spot as captain. She didn't care about titles as long as she got to play. With her responsibilities as captain removed it left her with more free time and that suited her just fine.

During the days that followed a recent addition to the team stirred things up. Gilda had infiltrated the group and became an official member of soccer team just in time to play the first match of the season.

The match itself was dubbed the "Big Game" since it was rumored that there were going to be scouts there from prestigious universities. It was a chance of a lifetime for budding athletes that wanted a career in sports.

Not everything was going right in the world, as things were getting bad for a former villain. Sunset Shimmer had been happily in a relationship with Pinkie Pie and working at the bakery. Things were seemingly well until she had realized she was out of funds and couldn't afford her rent. She knew that she could move in with Pinkie but it was too soon for her tastes.

She tried keeping quiet about it but Pinkie had a weird way of figuring things out. That led to an argument and a very big one. Trust was important to both parties involved and yet it was that same thing that almost tore their relationship apart.

____________________________________________________________

Rarity's parents had found out about their daughter's relationship with Applejack and weren't too fond of it. They insisted that Rarity was straight and she should be dating boys in the hopes she finds herself a loving husband one day.

Rarity wasn't pleased with their disposition and their sudden need to play the role of parents. She despised their intrusion upon her life. She told them off which resulted in her being grounded and forbidden to see Applejack.

Rarity didn't allow them to restrict her from being with her lover and ran away to Applejack's home.

____________________________________________________________

Granny Smith wasn't too happy with Applejack's predicament but she was more understanding. She welcomed Rarity to her home and told her if she wanted to stay she would be susceptible to doing chores to earn her keep.

Granny Smith thought that would scare the little girl off since she knew that by law she couldn't house a runaway unless she was legally emancipated. She was willing to talk to Rarity's parents to see if it was alright for Rarity to stay at the farm.

After convincing Rarity of her plan she got a number and dialed it while Applejack and Rarity were out enjoying the day together.

Granny smith tried telling them that she would do what she could to make Rarity's stay a nightmare, if only to assure them she was on their side. She didn't really want to see Rarity suffer for loving her granddaughter but at the same time she had to sound convincing if she wanted to allow them to be together.

After a lengthy conversation Rarity's parents decided to entrust the care of their daughter to the elderly farm gal if only to keep Sweetie Belle away from Rarity's influence. Granny Smith was hoping she made the right decision since she now had to deal with two young teenagers who would most likely be hormonal and frisky.

____________________________________________________________

It was the day of the big game and Rainbow Dash was super excited. She knew that the college Fluttershy was aiming for had a sports department and a scout from that college was going to attend. Rainbow Dash had been keeping her finger on the pulse of the sports world ever since she and Fluttershy got engaged. At least it was a sort of engagement that didn't require a fancy ring.

She wanted to go to the same college as her future wife since she had no doubts that she and Fluttershy were meant to be together. It would sting if the scout didn't approach her after the game but she wouldn't allow herself to think negative thoughts. She woke up super early and did some light exercise before she woke up Shy to get ready for the day.

Fluttershy had promised to make a healthy breakfast for them since she knew that good nutrition was going to help Rainbow Dash wow everyone at the game. She was hoping that things went well today for both their sakes. She had finally found happiness that she had been searching for and it would be heartbreaking if anything got in the way of that.

After a quick shower Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy ate their breakfast and made their way to school with eagerness brimming from every fiber of their beings. They were full of hope and weren’t going to let anything ruin their mood.

____________________________________________________________

Pinkie Pie and Sunset Shimmer were getting along this morning for their own reasons. Sunset had finally given in and made the big move. At first she was nervous about living with someone that she got together with since it seemed so soon but it hadn't impacted their relationship in a negative way since Pinkie was always Pinkie and Sunset enjoyed that about her.

Pinkie Pie was thrilled having Sunset live with her and made sure not to overwhelm her girlfriend. She made sure to keep things as they were and not try to get too out of control. Pinkie Pie was going to make sure she didn't screw this up because Sunset had become the party that resides in her heart.

____________________________________________________________

Rarity and Applejack had found that living together was quite different than expected. Applejack loved Rarity and everything about her... but some parts of her were meant to be taken in small doses. She didn't enjoy being beautified by Rarity or the constant complaints she was being given when they worked the farm together. Still even with those minor annoyances it was still great being able to have full access to your special someone.

Rarity knew she annoyed her lover but also knew that she kept things fresh. She whined about things but never refused to work or stop complaining if it got too much. She was getting used to having to do work but what she enjoyed most about her new living situation was she could still sew in peace and on occasion be bothered by her lover while working on a dress.

For some reason that made everything seem more precious. She wanted nothing more than to have Applejack be with her whenever they wished to be together. It was magical and yet scary. She didn't know how long they would last for but she was hoping they lasted for a very long time. She kinda was a tad bit jealous of Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy's situation.

She knew one day Applejack's entire family would find out about their relationship and hoped they were as accepting as Granny Smith was.

____________________________________________________________

Gilda had woken up alone in her apartment with one goal in mind. She wanted to impress the scouts that Rainbow Dash did in hopes they could end up in the same college. She was hoping that they got into a college that Fluttershy couldn't attend. It wasn't so much that she hated Fluttershy, it was just she wanted Rainbow Dash to herself. Fluttershy was an obstacle nothing more; nothing less.

Gilda had Rainbow Dash set on her heart for the longest but even with that conviction her emotions were conflicted. She couldn't deny that she was developing feelings for Derpy especially since the space cadet was so endearing. Gilda's obsession with Rainbow Dash made it hard for her to fully commit to Derpy and it killed her knowing that she was stringing the beautiful girl along.

Just as that thought went through her mind the same space cadet she was thinking of entered Gilda's room barely clothed and holding a tray with breakfast she made.

"I made you some food, It's not only muffins though," Derpy explained while getting closer.

Gilda was speechless for a second since it was damning to her to see someone care this much about her.

"Thanks... Babe I was wondering, after high school do you know what college you plan on going to?" Gilda asked with guilt being kept at bay.

Derpy frowned at the thought of higher learning, "I can't enter college with my grades... I barely pass my classes as it is."

Gilda got furious for some reason. It now sunk in all those comments she heard about Derpy from others. She thought space cadet was just a nickname they gave her because Derpy was odd, instead those assholes were making fun of her learning disability. She got up from the bed and put the tray on top of her dresser before pulling Derpy into a powerful hug.

No words were exchanged in that hug just two bodies pressed into each other with one single thought emanating from both. "This feels nice."

____________________________________________________________

School was going by quick and without any hindrances. It seemed that the day was going to go by without any incidents until Fluttershy found herself in the bathroom face to face with Gilda.

It wasn't planned by anyone for anything but it was happening. Gilda was in the bathroom and with Fluttershy. There were no other living entities in there at this moment and that made Fluttershy extremely nervous.

She thought about holding it till later and leaving until Gilda spoke up.

"I am not going to hurt you... In fact I don't think you have to worry about me anymore," Gilda said calmly.

Fluttershy was nervous as it was but wanted to know more, "Why?" she asked cautiously.

"Because I no longer need to obsess over Dash... She is cool and all but I found someone who makes me less miserable and that is good enough for me," Gilda explained.

Fluttershy let out a sigh of relief before a warning came.

"I will say this though, if you dare break her heart, I will break your face and that is a promise!" Gilda proclaimed before drying off her hands and walking out of the bathroom.

She had no clue what possessed her to give up on Rainbow Dash like that. She wasn't even sure if she thought that out clearly but one thing was certain. She didn't need Rainbow Dash to smile anymore and that was comforting.

____________________________________________________________

The group of friends had eaten lunch together and caught up on the news they each had brought forward for discussion. The topics ranging from Rarity running away and being forced to do labor to Pinkie Pie's roommate. Things were seemingly great and still one thing was eating away at the group.

Rarity was dying to know what Rainbow Dash's plan was if the plan didn't work. She knew it would be awful to bring up such a thing but she needed to know in case she had to comfort poor Fluttershy.

"I know I'm going to make a fool of myself for asking, Darlings, but ... What if you get scouted by a college that isn't in Fluttershy's list of possible colleges to attend?"

Rainbow Dash could feel how tense Fluttershy got and squeezed her hand gently. "Rarity... I have been giving it a lot of thought and I can only say this. If Fluttershy can't go to a college that wants me then I will have to adjust and go to one she can. I am not only good at soccer you know. I am sure I can try out in college sports and if worse comes to worse I will just have to wing it from there."

Fluttershy felt a pang of guilt knowing that she could possibly be holding Rainbow Dash back but another side of her was also happy that Rainbow Dash would give up so much for her. She stopped being shy for one second and kissed Rainbow Dash in public.

Needless to say that shocked everyone at the table. Fluttershy initiating a kiss and in public was something they thought would never happen and yet it did. So if things like that could occur what's stopping another miracle from happening?

____________________________________________________________

Time had finally come. The field was lined with players and the benches were full of parents and sports enthusiasts. The scouts were holding their clipboards and were eyeing the field carefully. The two teams that were facing off tonight were the two best in the division and since it was the first game of the season it was when things were the freshest so this is where everyone gave it their all.

Rainbow Dash had a lot of great plays to make but not being captain meant allowing someone else to lead. She didn't mind since the new captain Cloudchaser was doing a good job of it.

Cloudchaser had become captain and with her sister's support she had been able to stay sane. She now knew how hard a job it was and respected Rainbow Dash more for it. She offered the spot back to Rainbow Dash previously but Rainbow Dash put her ego aside and allowed Cloudchaser to keep the position. Since then things between them were going great and the team was working well under Cloudchaser's lead.

Rainbow Dash didn't mind being lead by Cloudchaser since it meant more free time to be with Shy and also she had to admit Cloudchaser was trying her hardest to be captain even if she was inexperienced. It didn't matter now since the game was already on the way and things were getting intense.

At the very beginning of the game the Rainbow Dash had scored a goal within seconds of the game starting. Needless to say that got the enemy team upset and the coach a bit seethed. The upside of her scoring a goal to early was the scouts and supporters seemed impressed and it even caused a certain shy girl to cheer loudly. That was a reward in it's own right.

The game continued to become tense with goals being scored on both sides.

Gilda herself was giving it her all and not for Rainbow Dash's sake but for her own. She decided to focus on her own life and one that included Derpy in it. She was done chasing after a girl who didn't want her when she had someone special who loved her. No matter what the outcome of this game was she was going to play her heart out.

Rainbow Dash's father was just watching with pride as his daughter was playing with tenacity and moxie. He didn't mind understand why his daughter would give this up for Fluttershy if they couldn't go to the same college but he did know one thing. He was proud of his daughter and nothing would change that.

____________________________________________________________

The final seconds was ticking down and the game was set to end shortly. Rainbow Dash knew she could score one final goal and wow the scouts in doing so. The only problem was she would have to give everything she got into it and over exert herself. She knew the risks of doing so but without risks there aren't rewards.

She decided to go for it. She got the ball in her control and used every last ounce of energy to move through the defense. It was only a couple seconds left before the game ended when she unleashed a hellish kick that sent the ball flying forward with intense force. The ball was moving too fast for the person in the goal post to do anything but watch as it landed inside and pushed the netting back.

The sound of the horn had signified the end of the game and Rainbow Dash smiled as she looked at the sky. Sweat pouring down her body and the loud cheers of her team mates and friends were deafening. She was tired, sweat, and bruised but all in all she had the most exciting time of her life and nothing was going to break her mood.

Sorry for the long delay but I have good news. The next chapter is the final chapter and the fates of all the characters will be revealed. Also the epilogue will be in the final chapter which reveals the future of Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy

I hope you have enjoyed this story thus far and hope you tune in for the exciting conclusion of this story.

Ever After

Rainbow Dash, now at the age of 25, was inside a hospital room with her wife Fluttershy. She was excited for this moment as the months leading to this day were stressful. Being on a team and having to travel a lot to play sports was fun but the one thing she missed most was her wife. It wasn't too bad at first since she was excited to play the games and actually going pro.

Still it got hard when she was alone in the hotel rooms or worse when fanboys and fangirls tried throwing themselves at her. She didn't want any of that nonsense because she already had the perfect life partner and didn't need to get greedy. Sometimes when the phone conversations weren't enough Rainbow Dash would have Fluttershy travel with her for some games just so they could spend more time together.

Right now in the hospital room her wife was about to give birth to their child. It wasn't biologically Rainbow Dash's kid since, while Rainbow Dash was the only person Fluttershy slept with, she wasn't able to impregnate her. This world had to rely on science to help where life couldn't. They had to get a donor who was willing to sign away their consent since they didn't want any legal issues in the future.

It wasn't an easy decision to have a child as it lead to an argument the first time it was brought up.

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were watching a romantic movie and usually that stirred the mood for some sensual fun. That night however it lead to something deeper stirring from Fluttershy's body.

She had the maternal clock finally hit the alarm stage. "Hey Dashie, I was wondering if maybe we could extend our family a bit?"

Rainbow Dash looked around and saw many animals in the house and as much as she loved having a happy wife she couldn't take any more pets. "I think we have enough animals Fluttershy."

Fluttershy blushed and fiddled her thumbs together. She was nervous as she spoke, "I meant... We should start a real family and have kids."

Rainbow Dash's eyes grew wide and she got a bit upset. "Fluttershy, I am a woman and so are you. I don't see how we can have kids."

Fluttershy knew Rainbow Dash wasn't into sharing. She also could understand why Rainbow Dash didn't want anyone impregnating her or having someone else's seed in her. It still was saddening to the shy woman. "I know you don't like the idea of invitro-" Fluttershy could get out before Rainbow Dash stopped her.

"Don't even say it , Shy, I am open to adopting but I won't allow someone's DNA to make a baby with you. I know I can't give you a baby but I thought you understood that," Rainbow Dash said with a hurt tone.

Fluttershy could tell she ruined the magic of the moment that they would have shared and also figured that if she didn't do something then it would be a night of sorrow. "Dashie, I'm sorry... I just..." She couldn't make a decent excuse.

Rainbow Dash looked at her wife and rubbed her face gently, "I hate saying no to you and if it was just for the means of getting pregnant I wouldn't mind too much. The only thing that bothers me is having a child with someone's DNA would possibly mean having to share our child with them. I can't be in a three way relationship. I love you and the child we will have will only be mine and yours. If you can find a way to make that happen then I will be on board."

Fluttershy smiled wide and tackled her wife to the ground in joy. "Oh I promise you won't regret this decision."

Present

The waiting room of the hospital had been anything but empty. There were many people here to see the new addition to their family.

Rarity had a shirt that she designed that said "World's Best Aunt." She and Fluttershy were practically sister's and so by that logic Rarity declared herself an aunt. As a joke she made a shirt for her life partner as well.

Applejack was still embarrassed wearing it in public but she did just for the occasion. The shirt she wore said "World's Best Uncle." Since she and Rainbow Dash were like "bro's". She didn't mind though since she was excited about the arrival of the baby.

Applejack and Rarity had gotten married some time after Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy did. Applejack and Rainbow Dash had remained the best of friends even with the changes that happened in their lives. Rarity and Fluttershy grew real close when Rainbow Dash was first off being a big shot soccer player. Rarity didn't mind keeping Fluttershy company and it also gave them time to gossip and do their usual things.

Pinkie Pie was in the waiting room with a whole bunch of gifts and an excitement level that reached far beyond normal capacity. She was sitting alone and for good reason.

Pinkie Pie and Sunset tried making things work but in the end they had a falling out.

____________________________________________________________

Sunset had just arrived home from a late shift at her job and wanted to sleep before she had to go back in the morning. She had quit the bakery years ago because she couldn't see herself working there too much longer. She used her college education to get her a clerical job at a fancy law firm. At first it wasn't too difficult to manage but the more she excelled in doing her job the more tasks she got.

Pinkie had been waiting for her fiancee to arrive so they could have a bit of fun before the night ended. As soon as sunset entered the apartment Pinkie Pie glomped her. Normally it wouldn't have been a problem but Sunset had some papers in her hand that flew in the air during said glomp.

Sunset grew infuriated and yelled loudly at Pinkie.

"You see me with papers and you decide to tackle me like some ignorant child. You better pray I can re-organize them before tonight's end or so help me!"

Pinkie Pie didn't like how Sunset had changed due to her new job. Since Sunset had started working at the law firm she came home upset and angry most of the time and their spark seemed to have died as of late.

"I'm sorry, Sunny I was just-"

Sunset flipped out even more at Pinkie's words, "Sorry? Sorry isn't going to fix the paperwork and honestly I am just sick of this. I go to work to support us and when I get home it's Pinkie time all the time."

Pinkie Pie was crying her heart out and had a pleading look in her eye. "Please, Sunny, don't be mad, I am sorry," she said with desperation.

Sunset Shimmer didn't say a word and went into the room and came out after packing some stuff. She looked at Pinkie who was crying on the floor and left her there without even saying good bye.

____________________________________________________________

Present

Pinkie Pie was still wearing a necklace that Sunset gave her and even though she appeared happy on the surface she had been depressed ever since Sunset left. She went through therapy and finally was given the help she needed.

Pinkie had seen Sunset over time and they chatted here and there but they never got back together. Though they did sometimes spend nights with each other. Even if those were the only moments they had Pinkie cherished them.

Just as Pinkie was thinking back on her life she saw the woman who she loved most in the world appear in the waiting room. "Hey, Sunset..." Pinkie said with sorrow.

Applejack wasn't too fond of Sunset because of what happened between her and Pinkie. She didn't know about their continued secret meetings and just knew that Sunset had destroyed Pinkie's heart.

Before Applejack could say anything Sunset grabbed Pinkie's hand and lead her out the room.

Rarity noticed the lack of resistance on Pinkie's end and stopped Applejack from giving chase.

"Darling, I think they need whatever it is they are going to do. I noticed Pinkie not resisting even a bit otherwise I would have let you pummel Sunset for hurting our friend."

____________________________________________________________

Pinkie Pie was lead to Sunset's car and they entered it before the doors were closed.

Sunset Shimmer and Pinkie had been meeting every few days to either make out, have dinner or even do more. This moment however was different for Sunset.

"Pinkie I have been doing a lot of thinking and we can't keep doing this," Sunset said and locked the door before Pinkie could bolt out.

PInkie got upset and almost broke Sunset's door before Sunset kept talking.

"Pinkie I don't mean I want us to stop seeing each other! I just don't like doing it in secret."

Pinkie finally stopped and just cried not enjoying the mind games.

"Look ever since I left you I have regretted it. I knew then I made the biggest mistake of my life and I know I don't deserve you but I can't take just meeting once every few days to hook up. I want to settle down and get to that next stage of life."

Pinkie Pie wiped the tears from her eyes and looked at Sunset with anger. "No you don't, If so not with me. You can't possibly want to be with me when you just left me all those nights ago. Sure we are having fun now but what if you can't handle living with me like before? I couldn't take it if you broke my heart twice."

Sunset decided to spill her heart out and throw all her cards on the table.

"I know you won't believe me but even though we aren't together I haven't been with anyone else. I haven't even dated or so much as kissed another person since we got together all those years ago. The only reason I never tried getting you back was because I didn't feel I deserved you and I only came back into your life because I was going out of my mind missing you. When we went out for coffee that day to just talk and then ended up in our old apartment I was hoping you would have just demanded to stay or do something Pinkie like."

She let out a small laugh before she continued.

"I know your friends must hate me and I know you probably are still upset with me, but I am willing to do anything for a second chance with you. I know I had my one second chance in high school and I don't deserve another. I just-"

Was all she could let out before Pinkie started talking.

"Shut up! Just shut up! You have put me through hell and I don't care if you haven't been with anyone else. I haven't been around anyone since you left. I barely left the guest room that the cakes set up and I was depressed for a long time. The only reason we did the things we did for the past two and a half years was because I needed it."

Pinkie sighed softly and felt a bit better about blowing off steam. "If you truly want me back then call your boss right now and tell him you will be out all week. It's going to take more than just one car seat apology to make me even begin to forgive what you did."

Sunset dialed her boss and battled with her for five minutes but eventually got the one week off she wanted.

"I am your's for one whole week now," Sunset said softly.

Pinkie Pie leaned over and kissed her passionately and whispered, "Wrong, you are mine forever."

Sunset liked the sound of that and they continued making out in the parking lot of a hospital as their friend was in labor.

____________________________________________________________

Applejack was still nervous about letting Pinkie go with Sunset but smiled as she saw Gilda entering the waiting room.

"I'm not too late am I?" Gilda asked while looking at Applejack and Rarity.

Rarity chuckled, "Darling if the baby was born I wouldn't be here I would be holding it and making sure it knows who is his/her favorite aunt."

Gilda laughed, "So she didn't tell you the gender either eh? Well that's good that I didn't get late and I would have been here sooner if a certain someone didn't want to stop for muffins."

Derpy just stuffed her face with another muffin ignoring her girlfriend and sat down on the empty seat where Pinkie sat. Gilda noticed the abundance of gift wrapped boxes and just remembered that Pinkie would be Pinkie. That's when she noticed the lack of Pinkie.

"So where's Pinkie Pie?" Gilda asked out of curiosity.

Pinkie Pie as if summoned appeared with a flushed face and disheveled clothing. "I'm right here, and not alone anymore." She pulled Sunset into the room and had the biggest grin ever.

____________________________________________________________

Fluttershy's mom was in the room coaching Fluttershy while being excited about her grandchild's arrival.

Fluttershy had Rainbow Dash's hand in a vice grip and was in severe pain. Her mother was trying to help but it wasn't doing any good. Even with all the pain she was in, Fluttershy was feeling elated with the fact she was about to bring in a child into the world.

She couldn't believe that she was married to the person she loved most in the world and was in the process of giving birth to their child. She looked back on the wedding day and just how hard Rainbow Dash tried to make it as perfect as she wanted.

____________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash had on a tuxedo since she wanted Fluttershy's dream of a traditional marriage to be exact. Even if Rainbow Dash wasn't a man she was willing to be a female groom.

Rainbow Dash worked extra hard helping out where she could to get the wedding going. Even with Fluttershy and Rarity doing most of the frou frou portions of setting up a wedding, Rainbow Dash was doing a lot of work.

She made sure the money was available and hired the right musicians. She had to taste test foods and get the perfect tuxedo. She was exhausted from all the activities. Still she wanted everything just right because it was going to the day that she and Fluttershy were officially united.

The day had arrived and it was time. Rainbow Dash looked around and noticed everything was perfect. She made it to the aisle and waited for the music to cue to see Fluttershy in a wedding dress.

Fluttershy walked down the aisle and Rainbow Dash's heart started rushing. It was nerves and excitement making her mind go insane.

Fluttershy's mind was clear and only happy thoughts filled her head. She had been waiting for this moment since she and Rainbow Dash first got together. The fact is was happening just made her want to scream a "Woo Hoo" but she managed to contain herself.

When they both stood at the altar Rainbow Dash removed the veil and whispered, "You look beautiful."

The officiator of the event had called upon the ring bearer and Scootaloo had walked down the aisle with the rings on a pillow she held. She was honored they chose her but she also didn't like being in public wearing a dress.

After the rings were placed they said their vows and finally they were announced officially as wife and wife. Rainbow Dash wasn't going to give Fluttershy just a soft peck on their wedding day and planted a powerful kiss.

Whistles and gasps could be heard and even the sounds of flash photography. All in all the wedding was just how Fluttershy dreamed it was and she had not a single complaint.

Present

Fluttershy was pushing her hardest but was worried about possibly hurting the baby. She was so nervous when she started going into labor and luckily for her Rainbow Dash had been there. She planned her pregnancy to allow some grace period between seasons so Rainbow Dash could be there for when the baby first arrived.

The doctors were giving Fluttershy instructions and after what seemed like days Fluttershy had finally pushed her baby out.

The doctor, who had the baby in hand, happily announced "Congratulations it's a girl," to the three women in the room.

When Rainbow Dash appeared in the waiting room with a giant grin the rest of the group got up and was craving to find out the news.

"Well girls, I am a proud mother of a beautiful baby girl. Her name is Hope and she is waiting to meet you all," Rainbow Dash said hinting it was okay for them to see the baby.

Rarity and the others followed and when they went into the room they saw the baby laying on Fluttershy.

Fluttershy, who was mostly covered by the blankets, was overjoyed to see her little bundle of joy. The baby was placed on her and the doctors instructed her to allow the baby to try and it's way to get sustenance. Fluttershy wanted so desperately to guide her child but decided not to go against the doctor's orders.

She saw her friends and felt a bit embarrassed in her state of undress but decided to not shoo them off.

Each of the girls there had a chance to see the baby up close and Rarity touched the baby before giggling like a school girl. She now wanted to have her own and was hoping that Applejack was ready.

Pinkie Pie looked at the little baby and said in a semi calm tone, "Welcome to the world and our weird family."

Rainbow Dash smiled at that notion. She had finally had all she needed in her life. She had a fantastic career, a wonderful wife and a loving family. There was nothing more in life she needed and felt as if she had finally made it to the end of a long journey.

Epilogue…

Rainbow Dash was out in the field and with time barely left on the clock she rushed out to make one last stand against the opposing team. She was ducking and dodging all sorts of defense just to get to the spot in which she knew was a good distance for her to make one last goal.

She felt as if time stopped and nothing else in the world existed besides that net and the soccer ball. She winded back her feet and kicked the ball right into the net just as the final second ticked and the crowd went wild.
She smiled not because she made the final goal but because she knew she had two amazing people waiting for her to come home. She enjoyed playing soccer but she had two people at home that made her life even better than soccer ever could make it.

Well it has been a long journey and hopefully this story has ended on a good note for you all.

Thanks to all who have made it to the end and the awesome feedback both positive and negative throughout this story.
I appreciate all the support and constructive criticism and wish you all a happy Thanksgiving in the near future.
