"This is a fantastic crockpot recipe! Found it on the internet years ago and have modified it some. The chicken is so tender, it falls apart, and it makes incredible gravy. It's my most requested recipe and our favorite meal. My daugters (ages 4 and 1) love it too! We eat it with a side of vegetable and sometimes with Texas toast."

Everyone in my family loved this recipe....it was also wonderful the following day as leftovers.

So easy, so delicious. I used only 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts but kept the same amount of mushroom and celery soups. Added 1 chopped onion, for flavor and also to dilute the sauce. I wanted more color, therefore sprinkle a generous amount of dried Parsley on top. I served mine over egg noodles. It's wonderful, everyone in my family love this dish. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Joy, this chicken dish was delicious so the name really fits. I used white wine in the sauce. Only cooked about 5 hours on low and the chicken was perfectly tender. The sauce was so creamy and rich. Thanks for a great crock-pot recipe. bella

I did not have celery salt so I used the recommended iodized salt. I used garlic cream of mushroom and smoked paprika instead.

I made this with 1/2 package of Lipton Recipe Secrets Savory Herb with Garlic sprinkled on the chicken instead of celery salt and paprika. I also did not have the celery soup so used Cream of Chicken along with the Mushroom soup. I also used a little bit of white wine and sherry mixed to make almost 1/3 cup. Served over brown rice. Very good! My two picky eaters ate it one even complimented it several times. Thanks again

Love this easy Recipe. We don't keep Sherry or wine in the house so I add Sprite or 7-UP instead.

We really enjoyed this dish! I wasn't paying attention and accidentally used a can of cream of chicken instead of mushroom with the cream of celery but it was still great. I really loved the addition of the lemon juice, it really set this dish apart from other creamy chicken dishes I've tried. I will definitely make this again. Thanks!

This was not bad. I used cream of chicken by mistake and maybe it would have tasted better if I used the cream of celery instead. I'll have to try it with egg noodles some time.

I'm a high school music teacher, turned elementary music teacher, who is also a mom. My evenings are busy -- I teach piano and voice lessons one evening a week, direct the youth choir at our church on another night, and sing with a professional chamber choir here in Pittsburgh on yet another night, so I'm always looking for quick-fix meals. I love to bake too, much to the delight of my daughters, but not my husband, who loves sweets, but is very health-conscious! It would be great to have a week of free time to make all the delicious recipes I find here on 'Zaar. Not sure who I'd find to help me eat them, but I'd do it anyway!
